Products that do what An Undetectable YouTube Adblocker does

Hey HN! Me and my brother made an undetectable YouTube adblocker that doesn't get detected by Youtube (yet). Would love to hear what you guys think!

It might come down to taste, but I feel like a lot of the "features" Twitch has been adding have cluttered the interface while offering little of value for someone like me who just watches streams occasionally and isn't closely involved in community events. But most importantly, I'm bothered by the non-dismissable popups that now appear over the video feed. They seem to be for extensions, but what features they provide evades me. These two uBlock Origin rules (which you can add in the My Filters tab) will remove the main two modals that can pop up over the video:…

Always been annoyed by podcast ads. Searched and found a few apps that can detect and skip them, but they were all paid. So I made a free one. To my knowledge this is the first podcast app with free ad block. iOS (26+) only for now. If the app becomes popular I'll def think of doing an Android version as well. The app doesn't require a user account. I may open-source it at some point; still thinking about it. If anyone's suspicious about how it's able to be free, i.e. doesn't it cost money to run, are you selling my data (I'm not) etc. I'm happy to explain in the comments. From a technical…

Been in the AI image gen space since 2023, before even GPT image gen was a thing, and after spending ~9K on Facebook ads for my own projects (made a video about that actually) I realized the thing I kept getting stuck on was the creatives themselves. I'm horrible at making reels-type video ads and Canva even with templates is surprisingly complicated for ad-specific stuff, plus everything ends up looking the same as everyone else using the same templates. Made a video going into detail about the full FB ads journey if anyone's interested:…

Hello everyone, A couple of months ago I was introduced to Excalidraw and fell in love with it instantly. The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't easily save my whiteboards and had to put everything in one whiteboard which started to lag my PC after a while. So I made ExcaliHub. It's exactly as it sounds: a hub for Excalidraw. It's free, open source, and I aim to keep it that way. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

So I just did my semi-annual "log in to Twitter to see if it's any good yet", and found that in my absence I had followed a few thousand new spam accounts. Sweet. That explains why they emailed me and forced me to change my password last year. Being Awesome, Twitter doesn't have any way to simply toss out all your followers and start from scratch. And none of the spammy apps claiming to do so actually will (even seemingly after charging you money to try). So instead, I just pulled open the Dev console and did this:…

TL;DR: https://infstream.com/?code=HN Hi HN – we’re Ben & Callum from Infstream. We’ve always been heavy users of YouTube, for entertainment, education and sharing. Towards the end of last year, we saw more and more horror stories of YouTubers losing their livelihood to the ad algorithm. We decided to build a content-first video platform, which aims to reduce issues by removing advertisers from the equation. Instead, we charge for the content you watch – bold, I know. Instead of paying in advertising and data, users on Infstream build their own streaming package, a channel at…

Over the past year I uploaded a bunch of videos to my personal channel. Most of them were short documentaries, news-style edits, or content covering current events and war. A lot of it ended up getting demonetized, age-restricted, or removed completely, usually without any clear reason or explanation. The worst part was not knowing what caused it. You upload something, it seems fine for a while, and then it disappears or gets buried. I spent days editing videos that ended up dead in the water because of things I couldn’t see coming. I started building a tool to help with this. Just something…
