Products that do what Apps Only, a Twitter account for great apps and nothing else does
We read HN mostly for the Rate my Startup posts and the announcements of cool new apps. We thought, "wouldn't it be nice if there was one place that announced those, and didn't focus on politics and funding like TechCrunch?" and so we made Apps Only - https://twitter.com/#!/appsonly. Apps Only covers only new apps, with an extreme focus on product. We only tweet something if we've used and loved it ourselves. Enjoy! PS. We is https://twitter.com/#!/appsonly/curators

I've been wanting a "pro-feel" Twitter stats dashboard for a while now. Inspired by Geckoboard I built TweetBoard.me If you're a Twitter power user you might like it :) Looks best in full screen! Note: There were problems when first launched but now it should be working at the real address: http://TweetBoard.me (Not working on mobile)

I got fed up with the news reader apps out there so I decided to make my own. Its a simple concept where it tracks all your favorite news sources for new posts and the social shares it received. Then it ranks it HN/Reddit style using social shares as upvotes. It's not meant to be alternative to HN, just a focused way to track your favorite sources. Please try it out and let me know what do you think, http://telescope.surf/ Note: you can do 'Add to Homescreen' on mobile to make it as an app. Please leave a feedback or any feature wishlist you may have. Thanks!

Hey everyone, Common advice for inexperienced hackers suggests "scratching an itch." Like many others here, I spent too much time on HN, Google Reader and Twitter searching for interesting stuff, so I decided to write an app that brings interesting links to you with no other distractions. HighFive uses Twitter and bit.ly's APIs to find interesting links in your timeline. When you log in, you'll see a group of five links with voting arrows. No HN comments or RSS feeds with hundreds of links--just a few interesting articles that you can read, then get back to work. HighFive was built using…

I actually started it June 2011 to learn iOS, launched it in September, and have been steadily adding features and making improvements. It's something I use every day and I hope other people find it useful. Enjoy!

My wife (28) developed an app to make fun of people who make the "duck face" in pictures. Any advice for her? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.duckface.nua.app

We built this as a bit of fun but it's been getting some great responses on Twitter

I built this app because I really enjoyed "Pulse" but I felt it lacked a few things. I wanted a web-based version, I wanted my news articles grouped together by topic, and I wanted an easy way to share with other people. It is early in the site's life, so somethings are missing, including the critical mobile app. If you have any feedback to give, it would be appreciated!
