24 alternatives to Beacon - The open-source layer for local AI agent visibility
Agent Beacon is the world's first open-source telemetry layer for AI agents wherever they run: locally, in CI, in the browser, or in the cloud. - Asymptote-Labs/agent-beacon
Beacon is an open-source tool that provides visibility into local AI agents. It gives developers and teams a way to monitor and understand how AI agents operate in their systems. The software is hosted on GitHub… Below are 24 products that do a similar job, ranked by how close each is in meaning and then by launch-day votes. I've been building computer-use tools for a while, and I quietly launched this about a month ago (122 Stars on GH). I figured it was worth sharing here. Over the last few months, a lot of computer-use agents have come out: Codex, Claude Code, CUA, and others. Most of them seem to work roughly like this: 1. Take a screenshot 2. Have the model predict pixel coordinates 3. Click x,y 4. Take another screenshot 5. Repeat That works, but it's slow, expensive in tokens, and fragile. If the UI shifts a few pixels, things break. And the model still doesn't know what any element actually is. But the…

OpenMolt▲132Hi HN! I built OpenMolt, an open-source framework for creating programmatic AI agents in Node.js. Instead of wiring complex workflows (that can break), you define agents in code with instructions, tools, integrations, and memory. The agent then plans steps and executes actions like calling APIs, updating data, or interacting with services. When things break or change, the agent can adapt instead of failing like static workflows. The goal is to make agents behave more like real software systems than prompt scripts. It includes: - a planning/execution loop - tool and API integrations -…

I have been working on making WebRTC + Embedded Devices easier for a few years. This is a hackathon project that pulled some of that together. I hope others build on it/it inspires them to play with hardware. I worked on it with two other people and I had a lot of fun with some of the ideas that came out of it. * Extendable/hackable - I tried to keep the code as simple as possible so others can fork/modify easily. * Communicate with light. With function calling it changes the light bulb, so it can match your mood or feelings. * Populate info from clients you control. I wanted…

Single-agent LLMs suck at long-running complex tasks. We’ve open-sourced a multi-agent orchestrator that we’ve been using to handle long-running LLM tasks. We found that single LLM agents tend to stall, loop, or generate non-compiling code, so we built a harness for agents to coordinate over shared context while work is in progress. How it works: 1. Orchestrator agent that manages task decomposition 2. Sub-agents for parallel work 3. Subscriptions to task state and progress 4. Real-time sharing of intermediate discoveries between agents We tested this on a Putnam-level math problem, but the…
