Just wanted to share my latest project Taskstax, it's just a simple Kanban kind of trello clone, built mainly for the learns, but it works too so it's online. Simple Kanban boards, easy login that takes you straight to it. It uses socket.io for data xfer after login which was fun to setup and also makes it work well. Totally free, any feedback would be cool or if you wanted some info on the tech just ask.

I recently decided to try out Google Tasks as my only task management system, and while I find some things about the interface great, it really isn't suited for someone like me who has multiple lists with lots of elements on each. So, I whipped this together real fast and I can't imagine using Google Tasks without it anymore. I realized you might want it too, so I put it on the web. Enjoy :)

I’ve been using Trello for a while and there were so many paper cuts over time that I decided to hack together a clean little kanban board for my needs as a weekend project. For my projects there are a lot of different hats I have to wear so that’s where “swim lanes” come in. Basically I have frontend/backend/marketing/support tasks and it was getting really polluted and hard to parse to have all these types of tasks together in a column. I wanted the raw, old skool terminal days of the early internet - BBS, and old green phosphor library comptuers - but running the modern web, with all the bells and jingle jangle whistles (JavaScript, etc). No funding, no VC, just 100% raw terminal fun. Not sure how long the demo will last, but try it out.

I always find myself frustrated by how many steps I have to take to video chat with someone online. There's always too much software to download and install, and too many accounts to remember. The high-end, high-price Cisco conferencing systems I've used are especially fragile. So I built Vidless in a weekend for myself, and I hope you find it useful too. Hi HN! In the last couple of weeks I've been working on Cranki: Cranki = Crosswords + Anki. (It's a stupid name tbh, haha) I like doing crosswords in Spanish (to learn vocab) but none of the apps out there allowed me to use my own list of words that I come across. So I built one instead. It's entirely client-side. No server, no database, no accounts, etc. Your words and stats are stored in local storage. I built this for myself but let me know if you like it!

Most agent tools (Devin, n8n, Codex, etc.) create new user experiences and dashboards for managing work. It feels like we should work alongside agents and use the tools we already do. To test this experience, we built Dispatch Board. It lets you work alongside agents and humans using a kanban board to create tasks and respond to any questions that come up. The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't easily save my whiteboards and had to put everything in one whiteboard which started to lag my PC after a while. So I made ExcaliHub. Fully leaned into vibe coding this time around. Started on v0, at some point ejected into running locally (getting v0's exported folder to run locally was a challenge), then iterated with Cursor over the course of a few hours.
