Hi guys, I've created an open source web builder framework (https://grapesjs.com) years ago, which I'm still maintaining, and now I'm excited to publish a side project based on it, Grapedrop (https://grapedrop.com). It's a simple web page builder which allows you to design and publish your web pages very quickly. This has been my main side/passion project for around a year now, so here's a bit of a back story: In the COVID-19 lockdown, I needed a new way to handle the big amount of tasks which were thrown at me in school, mostly coming in through emails so it was very difficult to keep track of them. Simple Kanban boards, easy login that takes you straight to it. It uses socket.io for data xfer after login which was fun to setup and also makes it work well. As we all are, I've been experimenting with ways to reduce external saas spend, and continually bring traditionally external pieces of context (prs, docs, trello boards) into the one mono repo. I have toyed with a markdown todo list and setting claude/codex into a "ralph" loop previously, but always missed the web ui for organising, planning, and tracking things in progress. I’ve been using Trello for a while and there were so many paper cuts over time that I decided to hack together a clean little kanban board for my needs as a weekend project. For my projects there are a lot of different hats I have to wear so that’s where “swim lanes” come in. Basically I have frontend/backend/marketing/support tasks and it was getting really polluted and hard to parse to have all these types of tasks together in a column.
