Hi HN! Thanks for your attention to my post. It was a big challenge to run most of Node.js packages in browser, fast moreover. Virtual File system, resolve import/export. I got cold many times, depressions, burned out, yet still alive and finished it. Many guys helped me with an advice. Many users give a lot of positive feedback. There are 200,000 monthly unique users. I work full time now because of the freemium business model. To be honest - I am happy after many years of hard work.

Example repo: https://github.com/valdanylchuk/breezydemo The underlying ESP-IDF component: https://github.com/valdanylchuk/breezybox It is something like Raspberry Pi, but without the overhead of a full server-grade OS. It captures a lot of the old school DOS era coding experience. I created a custom fast text mode driver, plan to add VGA-like graphics next. ANSI text demos run smooth, as you can see in the demo video featured in the Readme. App installs also work smoothly. The first time it installed 6 apps from my git repo with one command, felt…

Hi there! I've been on-and-off working on TacOS for a few months, which follows some UNIX-derived concepts (exec/fork, unix-style VFS, etc) and is now able to run a port of Doom, with a fairly small amount of modifications, using my from-scratch libc. The performance is actually decent compared to what I expected. Very interested to hear your thoughts. Thank you!

No gc, No goroutines, Produces small binaries while using the unmodified official go toolchain, and comes with complete Web SDK (generated from w3c/webref). We are building `pcz` to provide a reimagination of Go the language, in an effort to make it suitable for all kinds of programming tasks, and currently you can use it to build efficient web applications in Go using the generated Web SDK (as shown with the live web demo[1]). The journey is just starting, any suggestions? or any critics? [1]: https://primecitizens.github.io/livedemos/10-plat-web/

I needed a way to let users write JavaScript to create plugins for a site I'm building. I couldn't find a solution I was happy with, so ended up building one that run's it in a web worker on a separate domain from your main site. Hopefully I haven't missed anything. If so, please let me know! My website has an interactive demo you can write code in the browser textarea, and see the output on the right. Hi! I'm just posting to announce the release of the source code of the 64-bit version of my hobby OS, ExDOS. My site is here: http://exdos.co.nf/ and my source code is on GitHub: https://github.com/omarrx024/exdos64 It's licensed under GNU GPL v3 and has many improvements over it's old 32-bit version. This one has a truly functional ACPI driver on real hardware, a window-based GUI, a real disk driver independent of BIOS, and some other things.
