I’ve always seen talented designers and developers post their work, only for it to get lost in the noise. I realized a major reason is that they often just post a simple, unstyled screenshot. As a result, nobody pays attention. My solution is a tool where you can drop in a screenshot, pick from a collection of hand-picked gradients, style it, and export it—all in a few seconds. I’ve carefully designed every element of the app to be efficient, simple, and intuitive. On making it "Free, Forever": I don't plan on ever charging a subscription for Moocup. I dislike the subscription model as much…

Hey HN, Screenshots of bugs are no substitute for reproducing issues, but clearly annotated/laid out images do go a long way for developers to understand what’s going on and start working on them sooner. These remain an odd amount of work/overhead to do well— no one is going to fire up photoshop here, and most QA folks I’ve talked to have a simple trick or two up their sleeve for assembling screenshots/repro content quickly. A friend of mine’s spent the last few years working to improve this process and threw together what’s quite possibly the most functional screenshot tool…

Well, it's yet another screenshot-to-code tool. I use it daily. Of course, it sucks with complex designs, but it's still better than starting from scratch. It's a paid tool, but I've tried to be fair with the pricing at $9/month. However, I understand that times are tough. If you really want to keep using the tool and can't afford the $9, I get it. Just sign up and comment with your email, and I'll gift you three months of premium for free.

Hey Hacker News, Myself and another nomad have been working on this for a few years. It's a travel blog that aims to make it easier to write (and read) by limiting you to one photo and 350 characters per day. The first part was easy (making it work for us), the second part took a lot longer (adding all the polish to make it usable). Mostly it's a passion project borne out of lack of alternatives. If we were going to monetise it would probably be by adding a feature to turn posts (trots) into postcards, and make a small markup over a printing API like lob.com. Probably not a huge market, but…

Hey HN, I’m Johann - founder of Jars Global, where we build and launch a lot of products. We've seen how valuable social content can be for early traction, but staying consistent and keeping good quality without wasting time or money has always been a challenge. So I built Outbrand. A tool that you can setup once by inputting your brand details and goals. Then you get a 30 day content schedule with graphics. You can integrate with social platforms so it runs on auto-pilot. Setup once, then get daily content easily. PS. Please roast it! Really want to improve it so it's extremely high quality…
