Products that do what Challenge my GPT-4 Negotiator to learn negotiation skills does
I loved the role-playing exercises I did during my MIT negotiation classes, but many of my classmates are too busy now to continue them after the classes have ended. Before ChatGPT/GPT-4, good negotiation AIs to practice with weren't really possible. So, I thought building short GPT-4 powered simulations to teach basic negotiation concepts would be a fun thing to do :). Let me know how you do!

After reading the book Getting to Yes, I really want some tool to help me negotiate more efficiently without having to memorize everything principle. You start by putting in interests of each party, then you can explore different functions: how to respond to the other party, explore objective criteria out there or brainstorm more negotiation options. Still working on it! Leave me feedback if you have any suggestions!

We wanted to test if a smaller model like GPT-4.1-mini could beat its bigger brother 4.1 at the game Tic-Tac-Toe using only context engineering. We put them in a 100-game tournament. For the smaller model, we gave it a few examples of winning moves from past games right before it made its own move. The results were clear. Without the examples, the smaller model struggled against GPT-4.1. With the examples, its effectiveness increased by nearly 200%, and it consistently won. Just for fun I decided to see if I could use chatGPT to solve NYT Connections word puzzles. It uses a pretty straightforward BFS search in which the LLM is first prompted to generate several possible groupings of four related words, and then a different prompt is used to evaluate the soundness of each of those groupings. This approach seems to be able to produce the correct solution somewhat less than half the time.
