Hey HN, I built uncurl.dev to scratch my own itch: I kept getting curl commands in API docs, bug reports, or Slack messages and wanted a quick way to visualize, run, and debug them without firing up Postman or writing code to dissect them. It was also sometimes painful to create a test page specifically for non-tech users to consume an API. I originally vibe-coded this over a weekend just to make it easier for myself to debug API requests shared as curl commands. It slowly grew into something I found surprisingly useful in my workflow, so I decided to clean it up and share it. uncurl.dev…

Hi HN I needed a way to monitor network calls made by chrome extensions so I made a small extension. You can install it by dropping the zip or crx into the extensions page. It'll be on the chrome store whenever/if it gets through the review. Hopefully it's useful to others. https://github.com/dnakov/little-rat https://twitter.com/dnak0v

curlmin is a CLI tool that minimizes curl commands by removing unnecessary headers, cookies, and query parameters while ensuring the response remains the same. This is especially handy when copying a network request "as cURL" in Chrome DevTools' Network panel (Right-click page > Inspect > Network > Right-click request > Copy > Copy as cURL). I use Chrome's "Copy as cURL" _a lot_ (so much, in fact, that I wrote https://github.com/noperator/sol partially just to help me auto-format long curl commands). I often have this problem where the copied curl command contains a bunch…

Hi HN, I built webctl because I was frustrated by the gap between curl and full browser automation frameworks like Playwright. I initially built this to solve a personal headache: I wanted an AI agent to handle project management tasks on my company’s intranet. I needed it to persist cookies across sessions (to handle SSO) and then scrape a Kanban board. Existing AI browser tools (like current MCP implementations) often force unsolicited data into the context window—dumping the full accessibility tree, console logs, and network errors whether you asked for them or not. webctl is an attempt…
