Hey everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster. I've just reached beta in my game BoxByte Lyte. -What is it- It's a free 3d arcade game for hardcore players that uses color matching in interesting ways. Also it's a one button game, well movement and one button. Cool huh? I used to play Joust with my little brother on the BBC Micro many moons ago and have fond memories of it. So when I was experimenting with Claude Opus 5 it was a nice inspiration for this game. Did a little research and found there aren't many games out there that just work in a browser without ads, loading screens or account sign-ups. So I've put this directly on the landing page with no noise in the way - it works on any browser on any device and loads instantly. If it doesn't work at all, please tell me. A whole free daily game served in under 100kb with no ads, lags or logins. The URL will serve a new track every day, forever. I like small puzzle games to play on my mobile, (because you can put them away easily as well). But I got really annoyed that a lot of them force feed you advertisements. To counter this I made my own puzzle game, as a progressive web app. This means you can install it on your mobile or desktop as an application, and play offline. After the game is offline ready, no requests should be outgoing except checking for updates of the game. So there is no tracking/reporting going on.
