24 alternatives to E-graphs and equality saturation in Haskell

Fast equality saturation in Haskell

This Haskell library implements e-graphs and equality saturation, techniques for working with equivalence classes of expressions. It is designed for developers building compilers, optimizers, or symbolic reasoning… Below are 24 products that do a similar job, ranked by how close each is in meaning and then by launch-day votes. E-graphs and equality saturation in Haskell launched in 2022; newer entries below may have overtaken it.

Hi There, Erlang-RED has been my project for the last couple of months and I would love to get some feedback from the HN community. The idea is to take advantage of Erlangs message passing and low overhead processes to have true concurrency in Node-RED flows. Plus also to bring low-code visual flow-based programming to Erlang.

Hey HN, this is a small Haskell learning project that I wanted to share. It's just a website where you can see how many people write the exact same text as you (thought it was a fun idea). It's built using Scotty, SQLite, Redis and Caddy. Currently it's running in a small DigitalOcean droplet (1 Gb RAM). Using Haskell for web development (specifically with Scotty) was slightly easier than I thought, but still a relatively hard task compared to other languages. One of my main friction points was Haskell's multiple string-like types: String, Text (& lazy), ByteString (& lazy), and each library…

Hey everyone! I've been working on hsrs, a type-safe Haskell Bindings Generator for Rust. I couldn't really find any bindings generator that would create type-safe, rich bindings for Haskell from Rust. Naturally, both languages have rich type systems, so I was amazed that no awesome bindings generator already existed, hence I decided to write my own. hsrs feels very similar to pyo3 and napi-rs, and if you've used those, hsrs will feel right at home. What's unique about hsrs as opposed to hs-bindgen is that it has type-safe bindings for rich types, like Result, Maybe, etc. while also…
