Products that do what Even Turns, track your families turns does
I am a dad and have a hard time keeping track of who's turn it is, so I built this simple app to help, and you can try it out and use it for free! You can create a list, add turns (in order), and advance the turns in sequential or random order. That is pretty much it. I guess a to-do list or something could do something similar, but this is designed with 'taking turns' in mind. It's a PWA, so you can "Add to Homescreen" rather than download an app from the app store. Or use it in your browser. I've been using it every day for a bit now, thought I'd share.

Hey HN, after the app I actually used to track my period wanted me to log in and save my data in the cloud, I decided to write my own. Most apps in this area are based on a subscription model and display far too much information anyway. For me, a simple calendar is enough where I can add a few notes if necessary. So that is the result of my work - a simple design and the data is only saved on the smartphone.

The app is a simple Form builder for collaborative private group tasks. It includes some sample Templates useful for a family. For e.g., Shopping List, Family Radar, Travel Journal, Football Scorecard, Weight Tracker, etc. The user can create such Forms or customize existing ones with the Builder. Hi HN! In the last couple of weeks I've been working on Cranki: Cranki = Crosswords + Anki. (It's a stupid name tbh, haha) I like doing crosswords in Spanish (to learn vocab) but none of the apps out there allowed me to use my own list of words that I come across. So I built one instead. It's entirely client-side. No server, no database, no accounts, etc. Your words and stats are stored in local storage. I built this for myself but let me know if you like it!

I was a bit concerned when Google was sending comms about decommissioning Timeline on web. Then they did a mobile migration, and lost a bunch of user info. Started this app so I can always have a copy of my timeline on my icloud + server + device (3,2,1 rule) Hope y'all are able to find some value in it as well! Hi guys, This is my first time building something from scratch so go easy on me. I've always used to-do lists to keep me productive and stave off anxiety (not sure why they work so well for me but they do). I get kinda annoyed at the to-do list apps on the app stores because they move tasks to the bottom of the list when you tick them off. I recently launched my first web app, polls.io. It's a super simple polling app that doesn't require sign-up. In my opinion, this is the most simple/social polling app out there. There are certainly many similar apps out there, but I think this one stands out as it straight-forward and doesn't have any unnecessary "mess" getting in the way of the actual poll. I've just published my app and I would love to have more feedback on it. I got the idea when I was busy moving around several projects during my last semester.
