It's our new text-to-image model: a 9.3B single-stream diffusion transformer trained entirely from scratch. We focused heavily on controllability through structured JSON prompts, with strong text rendering, spatial awareness through bounding box guidance, and color palette control. It has the best text rendering of any open-weight model we've tested so far, and the NF4 quantized checkpoint runs on a single 24GB GPU. Simply upload a photo of your wall, upload the artwork images, position them, and download the result. It's very lightweight and nothing is uploaded to a server - everything runs directly in your browser. Why I made this: Existing apps (like Artrooms) fell short for me because they only offered stock wall images and limited 3D positioning, especially if your wall isn't perfectly frontal. I wanted something more flexible that would allow me to experiment with more scenarios, even when the photo is taken at a weird angle. http://imagestash.org/ Kind of like Instapaper for images. While surfing at home one evening I found the perfect desktop background ... for my work machine. I got to pondering the quickest way to save a random image so I could get to it on all of my devices, got a wee bit carried away with the technical possibilities, and this was the result. I didn’t want another app, notification, or dashboard. I wanted a subtle daily reminder through something I already look at all the time — my desktop.
