I'm launching Wirewiki.com today! Wirewiki makes the internet’s hidden infrastructure browsable. I quit my job 5 years ago to scale Nslookup.io. But after reaching 600k monthly users, I hit a ceiling. I couldn't naturally expand beyond DNS because of the domain name. So I went back to the drawing board: how would I make it today? I created Firezone to make it easier to host and manage your own WireGuard VPN server. While working at Cisco as a security automation engineer I experienced a lot of unnecessary pain managing secure network-level access into our cloud VPCs. I tried OpenVPN Access Server but I personally feel that security software should be open source to be validated (and improved) by the community. OP here. I built this because I recently caught myself almost pasting a block of logs containing AWS keys into Claude. The Problem: I need the reasoning capabilities of cloud models (GPT/Claude/Gemini), but I can't trust myself not to accidentally leak PII or secrets. The Solution: A Chrome extension that acts as a local middleware. We needed something like --dangerously-skip-permissions that doesn’t nuke your untracked files, exfiltrate your keys, or install malware. Claude Code's permission system is allow-or-deny per tool, but that doesn’t really scale. Deleting some files is fine sometimes. And git checkout is sometimes not fine.
