I've been thinking about AI propaganda risks lately and built this little demo in my time as a contractor at Palisade Research lab. It's a browser extension that ~instantly rewrites any given page to a particular political slant or agenda (has buttons for liberal, conservative, humorous, and conspiracy). Many of my friends found screenshots of foxed up NYT and Twitter feeds disturbing: now you can make these too. I built this in 2 weeks; wonder what better-resourced disinformation actors can do these days.

I'm sure you all saw the debate a few days ago, alongside all the tech influencoors giving their mid-takes about politics. Doesn't it get tiring? That's why I built mindfirewall a chrome extension that uses AI to filter out tweets. You'll never have to see politics, war, or negativity on your timeline again. I’ve spent a lot of time reading articles that promise a lot but never give me what I’m looking for. They’re full of clickbait titles, scary claims, and pointless filler. hi friends! i'm pretty tired of engagement bait and all the political nonsense on my x/twitter feed. i was curious if i could use an llm to filter out these type of content, so i prototyped a quick chrome extension. it uses LLama 3.3 to analyze the tweet through https://groq.com/ (because they are super-super fast). the extension is available in the chrome store, also there is a link to the repo. - you can tweak the system prompt for the filtering - but you need your own API key from Groq (you can get one for free)

We’ve trained a generative AI model to browse the web and answer questions/retrieve code snippets directly. Unlike ChatGPT, it has access to primary sources and is able to cite them when you hover over an answer (click on the text to go to the source being cited). I've been getting very concerned by the "Filter Bubble" effect in the recent past, so I created a quick tool to fight it - for Twitter users, at least. We built a Chrome extension and iOS app that filters Twitter's feed using Qwen3.5-4B for contextual matching. You describe what you don't want in plain language—it removes posts that match semantically, not by keyword.
