Hi HN, I’ve been working on a browser-based tool for exploring and debugging Web Audio API graphs. Web Audio Studio lets you write real Web Audio API code, run it, and see the runtime graph it produces as an interactive visual representation. Instead of mentally tracking connect() calls, you can inspect the actual structure of the graph, follow signal flow, and tweak parameters while the audio is playing. It includes built-in visualizations for common node types — waveforms, filter responses, analyser time and frequency views, compressor transfer curves, waveshaper distortion, spatial…

Hey HN, I just wanted to show the progress on my little (maybe useless) side project called tone[1] to get some qualified feedback. tone is a cross plattform command line audio tagger deployed as a single static binary without dependencies, so a wget should be enough to install on any platform (seems not to work on M1 Macs atm... if someone can help here I would really appreciate it). Features: - Supports most common formats (mp3, m4a, flac, ape, etc.) - Most common AND custom metadata fields - Chapter support - Embeddable pictures - Hackable (write your own taggers with scripting language)…

You can try it at: https://tape.it/denoiser Listening examples: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRjxY7GTV6Y We've been researching on this for over two years, and will present the paper next week at the Audio Engineering Society conference in NY. You can read about the research here: https://tape.it/research/denoiser Short version: we combined a classic DSP denoiser with a neural network that controls it. Training this it…

I am working on building (and have made my first prerelease) for a Digital Audio Workstation with git like branching version control. It's free for local use and paid for cloud syncing or collaboration.
