Products that do what Audiocate – a Haskell library for combating audio deepfake misuse does
Audiocate is a Haskell library for audio verification and source validation to attempt to combat AI generated audio deepfake misuse. It's currently just a MSc dissertation project but hoping to make it actually usable in the near future

What’s up HN! I’m a musician turned developer and this is the app of my dreams! Audiopile allows you to record and upload audio in various formats, transcodes everything server side to create a lower-res streamable version, and stores the original and it’s transcoded version in the cloud. Recordings can then be shared between Audiopile users in private groups or re-downloaded at full resolution. After years of playing in bands and struggling with large format audio, I’m finally starting to be satisfied with this solution. Plenty of tools exist to share large files, but Audiopile is designed…

Audiopipe is a one-liner for denoising, diarization and transcription with demucs + pyannote + insanely-fast-whisper. Made it to transcribe podcasts and Dungeons And Dragons sessions, figured it could be useful. It also has a wasm UI to load transcriptions and audio. Feel free to contribute! Feedback appreciated.

I built a free and open-source, high-resolution, real-time audio visualizer on the web. Try it out here: https://audiovisualizer.org The main feature is a very high resolution frequency domain visualizer. It even works in realtime with the microphone. The application also features a synthesizer that can be played with the keyboard or MIDI files and allows for adjustable harmonics and ADSR envelopes. I used React.JS as the framework, P5.JS for rendering the visualizations, the WebAudio API for audio analysis, Meyda.JS and Essentia.JS for feature extraction, Tone.JS for synthesis,…

We’re a group of electronic music artists and PhD researchers working in AI music. We've been working on a project to help us discover new music in a more objective way. It's called Speak Music: https://speakmusic.sonophase.com/ We’ve trained an AI model to understand the correspondence between music and language. The model combines a machine listening and audio signal processing with transformers for text embeddings. Once trained, we index a huge catalogue of unseen audio, ensuring that the search system can efficiently scale to millions of tracks. At the moment, our model is…
