We built any-llm because we needed a lightweight router for LLM providers with minimal overhead. Switching between models is just a string change : update "openai/gpt-4" to "anthropic/claude-3" and you're done. It uses official provider SDKs when available, which helps since providers handle their own compatibility updates. No proxy or gateway service needed either, so getting started is pretty straightforward - just pip install and import. Currently supports 20+ providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, and AWS Bedrock. Would love to hear what you think!

Hi HN, we build an open-source operating system extension for orchestrating robot swarms fully decentralized. This first beta version allows you to create fully decentralized robot swarms. The system will set up a wireless mesh network and run a p2p networking stack on top of it, such that nodes can interact with each other through various abstractions using our SDKs (Rust, Python, TypeScript) or a CLI. We have built Tarit as a hypervisor built from ground up for running AI agent and RL environments. It is based on rust-vmm and can be used as a replacement for firecracker. Firecracker was built to serve a different need of primarily serverless compute and hence does not have primitives like live snapshots without pausing the VM operations.
