Hello HN, for the past couple of months I've been working on Routify and wanted to share the progress made so far and hopefully get your opinion/feedback on it. Routify is a global serverless API gateway which handles routing, authentication, rate limiting, load balancing, monitoring, transformation etc (with more coming soon). Routify makes it easier to manage and secure public APIs. It's distributed across many regions globally and acts as a proxy between your clients and your services. You can configure it through the interface in a matter of minutes (no code required). There are…

Hello HN, I’ve always loved building frontend-only apps—those you can prototype over a weekend, host for free on GitHub Pages, and scale to millions of users. Unfortunately, AI-enabled apps complicate things, as exposing your OpenAI key to the world is obviously a no-go. This also means mobile developers often have to run their own servers. That’s why I built ServerlessAI, an API gateway that lets you securely call multiple AI providers directly from client side using OpenAI-compatible APIs. You can authenticate users through any identity provider, like Google or Apple, and set per-user…

Hello everyone! I was poking around GoLang's HTTP/networking capabilities to see what things I could do. Turns out it is pretty easy to insert your own networking stack into HTTP clients and servers.

Hey HN, we're Sebastian and Mish and we are working on EdgeNode - A global serverless deployment platform. Typically, most applications are hosted in a single location. This makes the experience worse for the users based further away due to high latency. Higher latency leads to decreased conversion rates, impairs user interactions and ultimately reduces customer satisfaction. Amazon and Google operate their services globally to eliminate this issue and increase service reliablity. However, setting up and maintaining such an infrastructure is technically challenging and very costly. With…

Hey! I'm a solo developer having fun learning Go. I have a side hustle and wanted to implement currency localization. I could use existing IP databases, but hosting on serverless is slow. So I built my own. I was surprised how fun it can be to use Go, and it's fast. Thankfully, Go's speed makes up for my dodgy code. Anyway, I'd love to get some feedback on my website/API. After a few weeks of testing and losing money on ads, I'm confident it's very reliable. This isn't a promo. It's basicly free (30k lookups/month), so there's no need to pay. Any advice or tips on how to grow and…
