Products that do what I built a self hosted recommendation feed to escape Google's algorithm does
I created this chrome extension for myself where I track my own behavior locally and recommend myself content from platforms I want content from (youtube/twitter/quora/etc) in a feed. I made it public just in case anyone else was interested. I would rather have control over my own algorithm and own the data. Also, it gives me flexibility. Turns out I do like these feeds just not when I don't own it haha. Let me know what you think of my implementation?

We built a Chrome extension and iOS app that filters Twitter's feed using Qwen3.5-4B for contextual matching. You describe what you don't want in plain language—it removes posts that match semantically, not by keyword. What surprised us was that because Twitter's ranking algorithm adapts based on what you engage with, consistent filtering starts reshaping the recommendations over time. I'm so tired of all that crappy AI content that is published every day. It's becoming way harder to find genuine creators on the internet because they are being overshadowed with massive amount of AI-driven material. I think I'm not the only one who thinks like that and that is why I've published "Is Generated" it's a community based Chrome Extensions where users can report, vote and block the content they suspect is AI-generated. I've been frustrated by so many blogging platforms. Last I used Ghost. I thought it was expensive and I hated that www I had to prefix on custom domain. So, I built https://lykhari.com just for myself and then opened for public. If you want something simple do try. It became profitable and hence self sustaining!
