Hey HN! I made a service to share passwords easy and secure but never promoted it. It's called instapass.io I noticed that people besides my friends and clients actually started to use, so maybe it will be helpful for you too! You share one-time self-destruct message using one time links and I won't even be able to see what you wrote. How does it work? One week ago, I launched a new directory, which is a curated list of useful and cool Mac apps and tools that are not available on the app store. Initially, I wasn't sure if it was a good idea, but I managed to create it in just one day. Long story short: After heartbleed thingy decided to use a password manager. Didn't want to buy one. Didn't like KeepassX interface. Started using MacPass. Tired of bugs and form fillings. Definitely one of those "20 minute adventure gone wrong" projects where all I wanted initially was a quick wireless rubber ducky for bitlocker keys and the like and then I kept adding stuff like AES-256..... Currently working on adding WebAuthn/FIDO support because the hardware is already there and scope creep is a lifestyle at this point. Would love feedback, especially on the security side.
