Products that do what I built presently.live for better weekend planning and insights does
Hi HN , my partner and I were looking for easier answers to our weekend planning ritual, such as: - When is our next free weekend? - What weekend activities have we got planned? - How busy/available are we to travel / host? Especially at the start of each year, when we're trying to plan flights and/or commit to hosting friends & family visits, I struggled to find a usable overview of multiple months that wasn't cluttered with weekdays. Our social events are overwhelmingly centered around weekends and we wanted a view of the year ahead that reflected that. How about just a line…

Hi HN, I built a tiny tool because I couldn’t find a clean, distraction-free monthly planner that: 1. shows a clean monthly task view 2. doesn’t require an account 3. doesn’t sync or store anything online 4. works offline 5. is printable 6. and keeps a minimal, distraction-free aesthetic So I made https://printcalendar.top/ — a minimal monthly task planner. It’s intentionally simple. No logins, no integrations, no dashboards. Just a small tool for people who want structure without clutter.

Hey HN, For the last several weeks, I have just been sleeping, eating, operating and developing itineraries.io. Rinse and repeat. I work as a surgeon in the UK. My main other passions are travel and programming. Recently, when I haven't been stitching someone up, I've been working on my project. Having always dreamed of exploring the world as a child, I struck a goldmine when I found a wife who shared the same love of adventure as me. We couldn't afford to travel much when we first met at university. Over the last couple of years, since both entering the workforce, we have been able to live…

Hello fellow hackers! I love creating products that solve people's needs. One day, my wife asked me if I knew of any tools that could help plan a week-long company getaway. The requirements were fairly straightforward: - 14 people - A 7-day trip - Sometime in the next 6 months They weren’t concerned about choosing the exact time yet; they just needed to know which dates would work for everyone—or put another way, when does it NOT work? I searched but couldn’t find anything that met this specific need, so I decided to build it myself. The concept is simple: think of it as an inverse Doodle.…

Hi! I'm launching https://intentions.life, a calendar designed for small habits. I used Google Calendar for 6 years, but found it hard to put small habits there, because everything takes up at least 15 minutes worth of space. It was one of the reasons my health deteriorated whenever I was too focused on writing code and talking to users for my startup. So since 2022, I spent my holidays building intentions.life. It lets me configure all my habits/chores in one place, and display them as compact bullet points. You can see the in-depth demos without logging in, and use the…

I got tired of trying to figure out my vacation balance throughout the year, so I made this website to be a stupid simple solution. It was pretty satisfying to bang it out over a weekend. * not all holidays are supported, and probably will do some custom-holiday-in-cookie functionality, but this is a common US list. * basically only looks good on 'normal' sized browsers

I made this app because I have such flexible schedule that I needed a tool where I can organise and structure my days efficiently. All apps I tried had title based events (you had to type manually what you want to do each time). My app is based on the premise that most people do the same activities/routines every day: So when creating an event in this app, the user can just select the from the pre-created activities/routines instead of having to type it in manually. After you download the app you get 1 day completely free testing, after that you can use the code LAUNCH for another…

This is my first web app, so there are bound be to be a few kinks that need to be worked out. That's why it's here, in hopes that some of the awesome people I read about on HN can take a minute to offer some criticism. http://dailydo.it/ DailyDo.it is meant to replace the canonical to-do list with a do-it list – a list of things that you will actually do. My monetization plan is based on team do-it lists, where you can see your teammates' do-it lists and assign them tasks, while keeping the individual do-it lists totally free. Please let me know if you find any bugs, what the pain points…

Care to share a screenshot and the 'killer feature' of any of your personal, self-built productivity tools? eg. I made my own calendar and money-tracker last year - there are no other users, it makes no money, I have no plans to make it public, but it holds my life together :) http://i.imgur.com/h2keJDg.png GREAT BECAUSE... it tells me how much I'm going to get paid this month. Absolutely no ulterior motive here (ie. I'm not canvassing opinions for a productivity app startup or anything), just interested.

http://impromptudo.com is a small project I've been working on. Just a webapp for now but I think it qualifies as an MVP. Also has a mobile version at the same url or http://m.impromptudo.com. Right now it pulls in data from meetup.com for upcoming meetups in several populous cities so it's not just an empty map. You can also click on the map to put up your own post. Trying to stay away from making it all social networky, there are plenty of those already.<p>Finally, I'm not a designer, as you can see.

Hi everyone, I want to share my latest creation. I have a few beta users using it, but would love more feedback. I spoke to some HN users and they suggested I revamp the layout, so I did that before posting it to the HN site. Please check it out and let me know what you think. http://www.statusscheduler.com
