Products that do what I created a bedtime story for my son using GPT-3 and DALL-E does

Hey together with wife we took part in AssemblyAI hackathon and although we didn't win we felt good enough about our inital MVP that we took it a bit further. You can describe your characters and give a title and however long/detailed description you want, the gpt-3 will generate a children's story from it, dall-e will generate images. Images are postprocessed with stable-diffusion custom model (for stylisation) and that's the final result. It's still early as it was done in about 2 weeks, but I count on your feedback. I am software engineer and did basically all of the engineering work…

I used to enjoy Translation Party, and over the weekend I realized that we can build the same feedback loop with DALLE-3 and GPT4-Vision. Start with a text prompt, let DALLE-3 generate an image, then GPT-4 Vision turns that image back into a text prompt, DALLE-3 creates another image, and so on. You need to bring your own OpenAI API key (costs about $0.10/run) Some prompts are very stable, others go wild. If you bias GPT4's prompting by telling it to "make it weird" you can get crazy results. Here's a few of my favorites: - Gnomes: https://dalle.party/?party=k4eeMQ6I -…

Two of my friends recently welcomed their first child and I "wrote" a kid's book for them using ChatGPT for the story and Midjourney for illustrations. The plot was sourced from a group of friends.

Hey HN! I’m Zach one of the co-founders of Adam (https://www.adamcad.com). We're building AI-powered tools for CAD and 3D modeling [1]. We’ve recently been exploring a new way to bring GPT-style image editing directly into 3D model generation and are excited to showcase this in our web-app today. We’re calling it creative mode and are intrigued by the fun use cases this could create by making 3D generation more conversational! For example you can put a prompt in such as “an elephant” then follow it up by “have it ride a skateboard” and it preserves the context, identity and…

Hello Hacker News! I’ve been having some fun recently and I wanted to share with you. My idea was to feed ChatGPT an image and ask for a caption, feed that back to DallE, then call this in a loop, and observe how the image that was generated changed over time. Similar to playing the game “telephone”. The results were really intriguing, so I built something that you can play with. Note this is best on a desktop (streamlit is optimized for a large screen), but if you’re on mobile you’ll want to expand the sidebar to start — it’s the carrot on top. My initial intention was for you to be able to…

Hello HN, I'm excited to share a project my co-founder and I have been working on - TaleBot. What It Does: TaleBot creates a personalized bedtime story based on parent/caregiver's inputs. You can customize the theme, the challenges (kid-friendly obstacles) the characters face, and even the moral lesson it teaches. Once the story is ready, you'll receive a PDF file, and an AI narrated voiceover of it. Try It Out: We've made it as barrier-free as possible for you to test. Use the promo code HNFREETALE on our story creation form, and you can get a story written for free, no sign-ups…
