tl;dr: My first Ruby project: https://github.com/symkat/GFM-Service Something I have wanted for a long time, has been to use GitHub Flavored Markdown in projects. Since those projects haven't been Ruby, using the awesome libraries GitHub's released has been a non-started. Now, running this and using HTTP and JSON from any language lets me use GitHub Flavored Markdown in my projects.

I've implemented a small web app — (a hassle-free hosting for markdown pages) entirely in Clojure and here is what I think: http://notehub.org/2012/6/16/how-notehub-is-built The app itself: http://notehub.org GitHub: http://github.com/chmllr/NoteHub

Hey Guys, I created GithubReader.org (open-source, non-profit, most of the code is written by ChatGPT). My motivation: I wanted an easy way to keep a list of repositories I want to learn from and access them quickly. So, I built a search page where I can find repositories by name, like Google. Also, I wanted a nicer way to read Markdown files on my laptop without the GitHub UI, like reading a book. So, I made a custom UI with a back button that takes you to the previous state without jumping pages. The markdown links are sharable, e.g.…

I have a hard time finding new, awesome open source repositories on GitHub for the languages I use. So I decided to scratch an itch. My project is called Grapevine. It aggregates mentions of GitHub repos on Twitter and filters them by language. I'm aggregating the top 15 languages on GitHub right now. Some of the languages include JavaScript (@github_js), Ruby (@github_rb), Python (@github_py), Emacs Lisp (@github_el), and Haskell (@github_hs). If you want to know more, here's the project's site. http://grapevine-project.info Let me know what you think!

Hi everyone, i just develop an engine to allow you to render your blog using github directly, by just using html, json, markdown. Here's the demo: https://porfolio-one-rust.vercel.app/revskill10/porfolio-tem... and the source: https://github.com/revskill10/porfolio-template/tree/main/bl... Currently you can use it as the starting point template and hack on it. Would love to hear your feedback.
