Hey all, wanted to share my recent weekend hack project. I wanted to improve upon the existing space for looking up information about IP addresses and ASNs. The backend is written in Rust and pulls BGP data every 8 hours from the RIPE RIS project to build up a routing table and also adds geolocation information. The frontend is using React and Tailwind. Would love any feedback or suggestions on what to improve.

Then aggregates this data into a fast and easy to use API that can be integrated into applications or scripts easily. Balter (Build A Load TestER) is a distributed load/stress testing framework for Rust. It leverages the tokio ecosystem to make it simple to write normal Rust code which auto-scales to meet TPS requirements or to scale indefinitely until a certain error rate. Balter, A Load TestER, is a new distributed load testing framework I've been working on for the past few months. It is Open Source, and designed from the ground up to support composability. This allows flexibility in the kinds of load tests you are able to run, such as fully stressing the system and then automatically turning off services; or the ability to run a background noise test, and then slam the service with traffic.
