Products that do what Literal, generate app map with analytics/network calls for iOS/Android does

Hi! I'm a long-time Android dev and shorter-time iOS dev. I work on this cool project called Literal (https://www.literal.ai/devs). Demo available without any signup requirement: https://literal.ai/hn You can upload your own app recording or use a sample of the Calm app. Literal will map out the screens on an interactive canvas. I built Literal, because I often field a lot of questions from PMs and other folks about what the new app release looks like. I used to send out screenshots in Slack and manually document analytics events as well as what APIs were hit.…

Hello HN, Long-time lurker, first-time poster here. I've created a service that creates a "flow map" of your mobile app. Check it out at: https://prodscape.net. The goal is to reduce last-minute regressions, promote holistic discussion, and help develop more ownership within an organization. This is something that I would have liked to have had when I was working at a big company. Some caveats: 1.) Only iOS is currently supported but Android-support will be coming soon. 2.) You need a developer-signed IPA file (see the guide on creating an IPA file here:…

Hey, we’ve been working on an open-source project built on top of Comfy for the last few weeks. It is still very much a work in progress, but I think it is at a place where it could start to be useful. The idea is that you can turn a workflow into a web app with an easy-to-use UI. Currently, it should work with any workflows that take images and text as input and return images. We are aiming to add video support over the next few days. Feedback and contributions are more than welcome!

Hi HN, Spawn lets you build apps with human language. You can include images, audio and other files in your app just by dragging and dropping. Here's a demo video where I build the game of Snake in 60 seconds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIqp7cvmE_M As it’s still in alpha, you may need to regenerate a few times to get the app functioning the way you want. So far I’ve found it’s pretty good at generating simple utilities and games. Over time, as both Spawn and the underlying models improve, it will be able to build more complex software. I have a bunch of ideas for future…

I am about to graduate from university this year, and I had an idea to create a mobile app similar to TikTok but for OnlyFans. Interestingly, the inspiration to replicate TikTok came from an episode of the Acquired Podcast discussing Meituan. It seemed somewhat ironic to copy a Chinese app. I ran out of money to pay rent though, so I’m looking for jobs here in Sydney instead now. I want to keep working on this project in my spare time and would appreciate any feedback and particularly guidance for how to run an open-source project!

Last week I decided to have a go at building a location based app, using native APIs for both android and iphone, but using a webview to display the content. It came together pretty well I think, still waiting for the ios app store to approve or reject the app. The app sends messages to anyone within 100 metres of you: http://herenow.nolanconsul.com/ I blogged a bit about it here: http://bennolan.com/2014/05/27/herenow-retrospective.html

this is an open-source project. the MVP to end all MVPs. made by me, a teenage developer angry at FAANG employees for creating a soulless, consumer-oriented world. The future is in creation, and the future is in teaching people to slam shit together with ChatGPT. Welcome to the start. :P

A few months ago, I was asked to build a reporting Slack bot for our internal stakeholders. This bot, among other things, had to send them some charts. During my make-or-buy process, I evaluated some services, but I wasn't totally satisfied with any of them, mainly for two reasons: firstly, because in most of those services, the data is sent as query parameters, and since the data in my case are sensitive, I didn't want that. The second reason was that the rendered chart images were not as cool as I wanted. I'm the kind of person who likes beautiful things . So, I did some testing, and I…

TiramAi - Beta - We have built an app that is now available both on App Store & Play Store that allows non-technical users to build web apps, mobile apps and logic apps as it seems fit by generating user stories and personas. Can be refined as many times. For web apps, the code gets generated in html, cs, JavaScript for the frontend and uses firebase as the db. For mobile app, flutter code gets generated and it takes us a day or so to get it out into test flight or beta testing, due to the app distribution hurdle. Logic apps use c# minimal api and gets deployed on Azure / Google.…

Hi guys, I've worked on several apps in the past couple of years, and found that it takes too much effort going from having an idea to building an app and having the world use it. I wanted a way to have an idea, turn it into a fully functional native app, and share it with the world, all in the next 5 minutes, as quick and as easy as writing a blog post. That's why I built Jason. Basically Jason lets you build a native interface to display and interact with any data format (csv, rss, html, json), any website, any API in any way you want, simply by writing a JSON markup and loading it.…
