I think graph is a wrong abstraction for building AI agents. Just look at how incredibly hard it is to make routing using LangGraph - conditional edges are a mess. I built Laminar Flow to solve a common frustration with traditional workflow engines - the rigid need to predefine all node connections. I've always had the urge to have my two macbooks communicate. Having one idle while working on the other felt like underutilization of resources. So I built Loopsy. Initially the goal was to do file transfer via local network, and then came running commands. I then tried running coding agents from one machine to the other, and it worked.
