Hey HN, I made a site where you can draw on street-level panoramas. Your drawings persist and other people can see them in real time. Strokes get projected onto the 3D panorama so they wrap around buildings and follow the geometry, not just a flat overlay. Uses WebGL2 for rendering, Mapillary for the street imagery. The idea is for it to become a global canvas, anyone can leave a mark anywhere and others stumble onto it.

Hi HN, I built the first version of Drawize back in late 2016 specifically for a Samsung Tizen OS app contest. I crunched and built the whole thing (including the real-time multiplayer engine) in under 4 weeks. It didn’t win anything in the contest. Since it was built with web tech anyway, I published it on the open web in early 2017 just to see what would happen. Im working on a mind mapping app that would allow for integration of gamification features and be nicer and easier to remember. I use multiple AI tools for work and also my side projects, and the annoying part was to track my costs and token usage across tools.
