Hey HN, Chandler from Dittofeed (https://github.com/dittofeed/dittofeed). We just added low-code functionality to our open-source email template editor. The editor features a Notion-inspired “/” command interface for inserting new blocks. You still have the option of using MJML or HTML, but we wanted to give everyone an easier option for creating primarily text-based emails. We have a live demo of the editor which you can access here (just hit the “Create Template” button): https://demo.dittofeed.com/dashboard/templates Since this is the first…

I made a small online editor to manage OPML[1] files easily. There are a lot of smart online editors for formats like JSON, but while OPML is supported by most subscriptions services, the experience of editing/managing it is poor outside of what each platform support. The pain of managing the file independently increases as the size of the OPML file grow larger. It's rather simple at the moment but the goal is to provide shortcuts for common desired tasks to make the experience of editing OPML much smoother and streamlined. The editor is a static website that runs locally in your…

Over the past few weeks I've been working on a small application to view trending repos on GitHub. I built the PWA[1] with React, Next.js and GraphQL .. but what's interesting is the application is only using React server side, meaning the client side javascript is only a few lines code adding some event listeners and registering a service worker for offline capability. This helped me achieve a perfect google chrome performance audit I learned a ton working on it and would love to talk about it if anyone has any questions! I built a web-based HTML/CSS/JS editor focused on speed, simplicity, and offline access. No bloat — just open and start coding. What makes it different: Live Preview – Edit HTML, CSS, and JS side-by-side with instant feedback. Offline support – Works without internet. You can even install it as a PWA and use it like a native app. No Login Required – Just visit, code, and preview. Login only if you want to save/share. Savable & Shareable Links – Save scripts in the cloud and get shareable links. Customizable Editor – Themes, fonts, auto-format on save, layout tweaks, line…

Have been building a web IDE & browser based code editor and v2.0 has now launched. Contains a whole load of features beyond just code highlighting such as online & offline use, code completion, type boosting, Emmet, database management, find & replace builder, auto backups, Github syncing and a whole lot more. Oh, and it's free & open source. Any and all feedback welcomed.

Made this todo list + calendar heat map over a couple of weekends, so its rough, but should be valuable enough to be used. Currently stores data in local storage, but I'm working on persisting data with auth + a database. Features coming in the couple weeks: (1) Search, (2) Categories. Hope you find it useful!

I got a bit carried away writing an editor so I could draw some pixel art for starting my blog and ended up with some pwsh spaghetti that's quite fun to use.

One year ago, I downloaded the news.arc code and decided that I would teach myself programming by building a better aggregator. At that time, I had some rudimentary HTML knowledge, and little FORTRAN under my belt. I knew that I wanted an aggregator that could support a wide range of submissions, and one that could scale without losing quality for the user. Hubski is what I have to show for my time and effort. The easiest way to describe Hubski is to say that it uses a commenting system akin to HN or Reddit, but uses a sharing scheme like Twitter. You have a personal feed comprised of the…

Hello hackers, I just launched a new MVP It's a todo app using mapped todo lists instead of regular lists ! https://ymappr.com It's bugged and very beta, but I released this complex MVP in only two weeks ! (+ made while relocating from Thaïland to Vietnam, and even while being sick). Needless to say, despite the raw interface, a lot of efforts was put into this. Hope I can give you a feel of what the final product will look like, and I would appreciate some feedback In the meantime, take care! baz
