Hi everyone! For several months now I've been stuck on the idea of a Minesweeper game that isn't just single player. This is what I came up with: • Live games allowing several people to play at the same time • Scoring system rewarding correct moves • Grid size, mines count, and players count set to make games as balanced as possible

Hi! I build an MCP server that allows clients to play Minesweeper. It turns out that Claude is not very good at it (makes obvious mistakes, hasn't won a single game on a 9x9 board after many attempts). I am curious how I can prompt Claude to do better?

I've always loved RTS games and wanted to make a game similar for a long time. I thought I'd just try and build a mini / puzzle game around the resource gathering aspects of an RTS. Objective: You have a base at the center and you need to mine and "refine" all of the resources on the map in as short a time as possible. By default, the game will play automatically, but not optimally (moving and buying upgrades). You can disable that with the buttons. You can select drones and right click to move them to specific resources patches and buy upgrades as you earn upgrade points. I've…

The only way to get a trust-less random value is to have it distributed and time-locked three ways, player, server and a future-entropy. In the demo above, the moment you commit (Roll-Dice) a commit with the hash of a player secret is sent to the server and the server accepts that and sends back the hash of its secret back and the "future" drand round number at which the randomness will resolve. The future used in the demo is 10 secs When the reveal happens (after drand's particular round) all the secrets are revealed and the random number is generated using…
