For years, I have struggled to understand my cash flow and save for the future. In addition to that, my wife has many credit cards and accounts that complicate matters. I am building a tool that connects all our accounts, helps us create a budget, and tracks and adjusts expenses on the fly. I am also sprinkling some AI magic on it for financial suggestions. I am looking for feedback on the implementation. More importantly, I am looking for more beta testers to improve the product.

I haven't seen anything like this so I decided to build it in a weekend. How it works: You see a bunch of things pulled from Wikipedia displayed on cards. You ask yes or no questions to figure out which card is the secret article. The AI model has access to the image and wiki text and it's own knowledge to answer your question. Happy to have my credits burned for the day but I'll probably have to make this paid at some point so enjoy. I found it's not easy to get cheap+fast+good responses but the tech is getting there. I posted this a few weeks ago and the server died under the traffic. Fixed that by adding an in-mem caching layer with Redis/valkey and added CloudFront caching for static content. Also upgraded the server. Also fixed the Firefox bugs, trying again. It's a research tool for US stocks. Financials for ~10k companies pulled from SEC filings. I was with BOFA and Chase Private Client for years before I realized that they were making tons of interest off my money and just keeping it for themselves. The funny thing is that since I had a lot of money with them they raised my rate as a thank you to wait for it 0.02% instead of 0.01% lol. Got upset because of this and made this site. It scrapes all the banks every 30 minutes so it is the most real time source of APY data on the internet. Rates are now over 3% at the high end so it makes sense to park your money in these places rather than the big three banks.

Burned about 1 weeks on this. Not sure if it's useful to anyone beyond my original use case, but figure I'd share. Friend went through a nasty divorce. Had $750k going into the marriage (inheritance), put it in a joint account like an idiot. Five years later, account's been up and down, money mixed with paychecks and mortgage payments. Hello everyone. I'm a relatively new developer and I started my first project to go full production recently. It is a directory of payment processors and payment service providers. It's free to use and gives detailed info on their pricing, business model, supported business types, available countries, prohibited businesses and high risk business support. So far only 40 have been added with more to come. And I allow processors to contact me so that they're details can be added to the database.
