Products that do what I’m writing a “US Banking and Credit for Foreigners” guide does
So I’m writing a guide about accessing US Banking & Credit as a non-US resident. It’s work-in-progress but the first couple of chapters are accessible for everybody. Any feedback is appreciated!

For years, I have struggled to understand my cash flow and save for the future. In addition to that, my wife has many credit cards and accounts that complicate matters. I am building a tool that connects all our accounts, helps us create a budget, and tracks and adjusts expenses on the fly. I am also sprinkling some AI magic on it for financial suggestions. I am looking for feedback on the implementation. More importantly, I am looking for more beta testers to improve the product.

I'm a final-year student from Malaysia. Been spending some time reading up on Fraud in Fintech. Would love feedback on what I've learned, and what I should be focusing more on.

Hi all, Been a while since I've posted and in the time since I have created a trading journal website where you can submit and track your trades with the USP of tracking your outgoings too. There has been a huge rise in the number of retail traders (me included) and a lot of people now have the very real possibility of quitting their day jobs and trading full time. I want to help people do that! It's still in very early stages and I'm releasing new updates daily but would be very grateful to get some other peoples feedback! Thanks in advance and hope you're all having a good day! :D

Hi HN! In the last couple of weeks I've been working on Cranki: Cranki = Crosswords + Anki. (It's a stupid name tbh, haha) I like doing crosswords in Spanish (to learn vocab) but none of the apps out there allowed me to use my own list of words that I come across. So I built one instead. It's entirely client-side. No server, no database, no accounts, etc. Your words and stats are stored in local storage. I built this for myself but let me know if you like it!

Over three months ago, I posted my book on HN and got tremendous +ve reponse. I am happy to inform that I have published the book to leanpub as per the comments I got on HN itself! It is pay as you go model, and the minimum is $0 because I wanted to contribute back to the FOSS Community

Got rejected from YC a few times, so I built a site to collect lessons, reflections, and what people would do differently next time. Thought it could be helpful since most founders apply more than once anyway :) Hope it's helpful: https://ycrejection.com/

Hey everyone. I'm a founder of a Boston based, venture backed startup, unrelated this this link. One of my business partners and I coded this website DURING long and painful meetings with our attorneys as a way to pass the time. We racked up over $100k in legal bills through a couple fundraising and legal hurdles. This is the website that resulted from that time.<p>We'd love your feedback for version 2.0. Thanks!

As I couldn't find a proper web based open source tool that could help me with my bookkeeping, I spend a week to built one myself. It's based on laravel and provides revenue, expenses, travel allowance and depreciation sections. Everything is then merged to an annual statement, that can be exported as a pdf and used for tax filing. It's far away from perfect (no tests yet), but I would be happy to hear what you think about it and maybe find someone to join in.

After reading the book Getting to Yes, I really want some tool to help me negotiate more efficiently without having to memorize everything principle. You start by putting in interests of each party, then you can explore different functions: how to respond to the other party, explore objective criteria out there or brainstorm more negotiation options. Still working on it! Leave me feedback if you have any suggestions!

I was with BOFA and Chase Private Client for years before I realized that they were making tons of interest off my money and just keeping it for themselves. The funny thing is that since I had a lot of money with them they raised my rate as a thank you to wait for it 0.02% instead of 0.01% lol. Got upset because of this and made this site. It scrapes all the banks every 30 minutes so it is the most real time source of APY data on the internet. Rates are now over 3% at the high end so it makes sense to park your money in these places rather than the big three banks.

We just launched our startup tonight! It's called Fetchnotes, and it's a note-taking application for short notes like books to read, shopping lists and ideas. Check out our website at www.fetchnotes.com. We're on the web, Android, iPhone, Mac, Windows and Ubuntu — and you can even text or email in your notes. We were just covered in TechCrunch (http://tcrn.ch/IBfr9C), and we'd love for you to check it out and give us your feedback. You can send it to me (Alex Schiff) and my co-founder (Chase Lee) at [email protected], or use our UserVoice forum at fetchnotes.uservoice.com. Also, we're…

Hello everyone. I'm a relatively new developer and I started my first project to go full production recently. It is a directory of payment processors and payment service providers. It's free to use and gives detailed info on their pricing, business model, supported business types, available countries, prohibited businesses and high risk business support. So far only 40 have been added with more to come. And I allow processors to contact me so that they're details can be added to the database. I'll eventually automate this and add verification the months to come. I hope you'll find it useful.…

http://www.getrewardly.com HN - we have finished our first iteration of a landing page for Rewardly, an electronic credit card based loyalty program, and we'd love to get feedback. We decided to keep text to as minimal as possible but we may have gone overboard. Our main concern is that users will not really understand what this product is in our strive for simplicity. We plan to have more detailed information on the "How It Works" page but your feedback on the issue would be awesome.

Hey folks, I wanted to share my latest project, which is a book that I wrote and self-published. The book is called Behind the Ivy Curtain: A Data Driven Guide to Elite College Admissions, and the link is http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013YFIQ30. Let me give you some backstory. I went to a fun high school but it was really easy and fun and I was a pretty big slacker. Around sophomore spring I decided I wanted to leave Florida, and the best way to do that was to get a scholarship to a good school. I had no idea how to do that so I spent a bunch of time reading…

When I see what some HN members have done in a weekend on their projects, it makes it hard to confess that it has taken us 1 year to get to this stage. I kept trying to make things perfect, but finally I have seen the light - it will never be perfect and even in its current state, I see so much we need to improve, but it's something. Instead of delaying even more, I thought I would release it to the best critics out there - HN say hello to MyProperty.com Hope to hear your feedback, criticism, thoughts.

Threw this together pretty quick because I kept seeing different takes on the new tax bill everywhere. Some sources saying it's bad for lower/middle class, others saying everyone saves money - figured I'd just build something to visualize it instead of trying to figure out who's right. Used Cursor to help build the website and make it interactive so you can plug in your own info. Hosted using Cloudflare pages. This definitely isn't perfect and you shouldn't use it for actual tax planning or anything serious. I'm not a tax expert, just someone who wanted to see the numbers laid out…
