I’m excited to share Savewise Cashback, a powerful new tool to help you save money on every online purchase. I was inspired to build this after I realized that cashback offers vary every day across every shopping portal. I imagined a “Google Flights” for cashback offers was something that would save me so much time, and help me earn more cash back and miles while shopping. With this tool, you no longer have to check every shopping portal to find the best cashback or mileage offers before making a purchase. It also shows you some historical data on offers by portal since the rates change…

For years, I have struggled to understand my cash flow and save for the future. In addition to that, my wife has many credit cards and accounts that complicate matters. I am building a tool that connects all our accounts, helps us create a budget, and tracks and adjusts expenses on the fly. I am also sprinkling some AI magic on it for financial suggestions. I am looking for feedback on the implementation. More importantly, I am looking for more beta testers to improve the product.

I built this because I see that grocery savings are achievable in NYC. People usually just go to the store they're used to going to, and it's rarely worth the effort of combing through card cashback, weekly coupons, CPG rebates. Most people leave real money on the table by not stacking them, and even more don't even know that these deals are out there.... so I built a way to automate it. You can use it for free, no login, currently NYC-only with ~690 stores. I built it so that you just search whatever you want (use commas if you want to search multiple items). Or - use the AI tool to help…

I’ve always found it funny how simple feedback widgets end up as $20–$30/month products. The tech is dead simple, infra is cheap, and most of us here could rebuild one in a weekend. So as a “principle experiment” I built my own today as a side project and priced it at 1 dollar. Just because if something is cheap to run and easy to replicate, it should be priced accordingly, and it’s also fun marketing. 1$ feedback tool. Shipped today, got the first users/moneys today, writing this post today. Side Sunday project, then back to the main product tomorrow.

Hi everyone, I’ve been on Hacker News for a good number of years, but this is my first “Show HN”. I changed jobs recently. Tax is weird in Europe (and maybe other places as well?) in that different amounts go out at different times and repeat at various intervals. I needed to make sure I had enough cashflow to make all upcoming payments, I didn't want any surprises. So I created a little tool for my own purposes, then had fun putting a small HTML frontend on it as I thought it might be useful for someone else. I'm a backend developer in my day job, as you can probably tell from the design :)…

Hi everyone, I'd like to share FinWise (https://finwiseapp.io) with you, which my wife and I have been building over the last few months. FinWise is an all-in-one personal finance management tool, including budgeting, net-worth tracking, financial planning & forecasting and a couple of other things which we're still busy working on like couples/family budgeting and being able to set and track goals. It's designed to make managing all your personal finances as simple, easy and painless as possible, and we've put a lot of effort into making the website as simple and intuitive,…

Hi HN! My name is Yossi, and I'm a solo indie maker. SEO tools are super pricey and free tools often fall short, leaving most users to costly subscription-based tools. So, I built SEO Stuff, a keyword tool that uses a credit-based system for builders like me who use SEO more sporadically. Have a great day!

I thought I could make a personal finance app that was simpler, smarter and more privacy-focused than Monarch, YNAB and Copilot. I believe I have, but today that's up to you. While the classic story of using a variety of "analog" tools to manage money does apply to me, the main pillars that pushed me to build Cadence Money were: - Pay for the level of syncing that's used including none - No built-in AI - Fully cross-platform including mobile browsers - Passkeys available day one - Proper Canadian support - No ads even for a book After seven years at 1Password as a Lead PM, I can safely say…

Hey HN, I built Subwise to solve a personal pain point: keeping track of all the subscriptions I’ve signed up for — from SaaS tools to streaming services. What it does Automatically detects subscriptions from checkout pages using a browser extension Syncs with a web dashboard that categorizes, tracks, and reminds you of recurring charges Gives spending analytics, trends, and cost-saving insights Supports multi-currency tracking (USD, PHP, SGD) with live conversion Why I built it Too many tools focus just on logging expenses. I wanted something that works more like a smart assistant —…

Hey HN, I've just begun my solopreneur journey. I've been a "serial starter" - often starting projects and never seeing them through, and I have finally finished my first project! Maybe this sentiment resonants with some of you, let me know in the comments below I built this tool as a simple no-risk method for turning more visitors into customers by A/B testing your sale promotions and automatically displaying the promotion with the highest conversion rate. Did you know that increasing your conversion rate by just half a percent can have a dramatic impact on your sales without needing…
