There are lots of glassmorphism generators out there, but I wanted to push the effect further! This project is the result of months of experimenting with CSS property layering and battling browser quirks. Cross-browser compatibility is actually the reason I rely on ::before and ::after pseudo-elements to build up the effect. Move the color/opacity to the main element, and you’ll get weird color bleed on the corners in Chrome. Move the texture, and it muddles the bevel’s specular highlight. Most color palettes collapse if you've got a strong redshift/nightshift color filter actively suppressing green and blue channels. I made one that doesn't. Ember has terminal, chart, heatmap, and UI palettes designed and tested to be as distinguishable as possible under both the redshift & non-redshift condition... so no more duplicate color appearances (or worse yet, disappearing colors!).

I worked on many apps where each customer needs their own branded theme. The problem is that you can't just shift hue and call it a day. Yellow at 50% lightness looks completely different from blue at 50%. That's why I built this library to generate perceptually uniform themes.
