Hey all, wanted to share my recent weekend hack project. I wanted to improve upon the existing space for looking up information about IP addresses and ASNs. The backend is written in Rust and pulls BGP data every 8 hours from the RIPE RIS project to build up a routing table and also adds geolocation information. The frontend is using React and Tailwind. Would love any feedback or suggestions on what to improve.

This is a project I made over the weekend. What if when you SSH'd into a machine, instead of giving you a user login, it would provision a new microVM just for you? It's like a little SimCity for VMs. This turned out to be a lot of fun, and I've wanted to make my own custom SSH server for a while now, with its fancy progress bars and color animations. I do fullstack dev for work and side projects and recently moved everything to a couple VPSs on hetzner. runNburn is an Apache-2.0 Rust inference engine for quantized GGUF models that are too big for your fast memory. The core idea: weights stay file-backed (mmap), host residency stays under an explicit byte budget (--ram-budget), and GPU caches are sized from detected free/total VRAM — never from device-name presets.
