Products that do what OSAI-Browser – A P2P Browser for Web3 and HTML Games does
https://evosync.itch.io/osai OSAI Browser is an peer-to-peer (P2P) browser currently in active development. My goal is to redefine how we interact with the web, focusing on decentralization and cutting-edge capabilities for web content. As a core future functionality, I envision distributed computing for high-quality web games and IoT applications, leveraging the P2P architecture to achieve impressive image fidelity and performance. Imagine games that harness the collective power of connected users, or IoT devices seamlessly interacting through a decentralized browser!…

Hello HN! The day has finally come to stop adding features and start sharing what I've been building the last 5-6 months. It's a bit of CrewAI, OpenDevon, LangFuse/Cloud all in one, providing devs who prefer TypeScript an integrated framework thats provides a lot out of the box to start experimenting and building agents with. It started after peeking at the LangChain docs a few times and never liking the example code. I began experimenting with automating a simple Jira request from the engineering team to add an index to one of our Google Spanner databases (for context I'm the…

I'm Tyler - the solo operator of Quanta Intellect based in Portland, Oregon. I recently participated in Nous Research's Hermes Agent Hackathon, which is where this project was born. I've used agents extensively in my workflows for the better part of the last year - the biggest pain point was always the browser. Every tool out there assumes a human operator with automation bolted on. I wanted to flip that - make the agent the primary driver and give the human a supervisory role. Enter: Vessel Browser - an Electron-based browser with 40+ MCP-native tools, persistent sessions that survive…

Hi HN, I recently launched Wool Ball (https://woolball.xyz), a project designed to test the concept of paying people to enable their devices to process AI tasks through their browsers. The idea revolves around “browser as a service” or “browser as a server,” leveraging idle browser resources to create a decentralized, scalable, and cost-effective way to run AI workloads. We’re still in the early stages, and I’d love to hear your feedback on the concept and the product we’re building. Overview: https://woolball.xyz/Guide What do you think of this approach to…

Hey everyone, We're excited to introduce MarinaBox, an open-source toolkit for creating isolated desktop/browser sandboxes tailored for AI agents. Over the past few months, we've worked on various projects involving: 1. AI agents interacting with computers (think Claude computer-use scenarios). 2. Browser automation for AI agents using tools like Playwright and Selenium. 3. Applications that need a live-session view to monitor AI agents' actions, with the ability for human-in-the-loop intervention. What we learned: All these scenarios share a common need for robust infrastructure. So,…

There's been some interesting work lately with BrowserAI (runs LLMs in the browser using WebGPU) enabling local, private AI processing. Now, the team has released BrowserAgent - a no-code tool built on top of it. BrowserAgent lets you create custom AI workflows using a drag-and-drop interface, all within your browser. This means personalized web summarizers, research assistants, or content generators can all run locally with no cloud costs and full data privacy. Check it out here - https://browseragent.dev Key features include: - No-Code Workflow Builder: Design custom AI agents…

Hi HN, I'm one of the creators of Nanobrowser, an open-source Chrome extension that lets you automate web tasks using AI agents. We were inspired by the potential of tools like OpenAI's Operator, but we wanted something that was: -Open-Source:You can see the code, modify it, and contribute to the project. -Browser-Based:No complex setups or server deployments. It runs directly in your browser. -Customizable:You can tailor the agent's behavior to your specific needs. -BYO LLM:Bring your own large language model API key (OpenAI, Anthropic,or even local models), No vendor lock-in. -Privacy…

Hi HN, I’d like to share an open-source project we’ve been working on for a while: Browser4. The motivation came from a recurring frustration: most browser automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Puppeteer) are excellent for human-written scripts, but start to show friction when used as a core execution layer for AI agents or at very high concurrency. So instead of building “another wrapper around Playwright”, we experimented with a different direction: designing a browser engine where AI agents are first-class citizens. ### What Browser4 is Browser4 is a browser automation engine built on…

Hey HN, wanted to share this cli and skill I built @ Steel (I'm the founder) I was trying to set up openclaw on railway and quickly bumped up against issues with a lack of browser access, a core component of the system. Agents like OpenClaw and CC are super good at using browsers but, similar to code sandboxes, they should be able to control these browser in the background, in parallel, without getting blocked by captchas. So I reworked agent-browser, the most popular cli for browser agents, to navigate Steel cloud browser sessions to they can run at scale and unhindered. It's a relatively…

Hey HN, I made https://linkians.com which is a game where all the action and state is contained in the url. The game involves taking care of little pets (emojis) that live in your url bar. Kind of like tamagotchi or sims. Feed them, play with them, and watch out for enemies! There's no server, just emojis in the url and client-side logic. Any linkians url using the supported emojis is a valid game state so you can save your game, or type out your own url and send it to a friend. I'd appreciate any feedback.

Hey, OpenAI recently released "assistants" - These have RAG built into the API, which means that you can provide up to 10.000 files to the assistant without the overhead of dealing with vector databases, splitting files into chunks and more. They work surprisingly well, so I've built a free simple tool to embed them on websites. It has no dependencies and simply uses fetch to communicate to my backend which proxies openai. In the future I plan to add more widget embedding options (currently only chat is available). Let me know if you have any specific questions about either the tool or…

I'm building a cozy multiplayer game engine (very early stages - just a few days in!) combining Elixir, Go, and Godot to achieve sub-50ms latency while maintaining a warm, welcoming feel. My architecture uses Elixir/Phoenix for fault-tolerant session management, Go for high-performance game state sync (1ms tick rate), and Godot for client-side prediction. I've implemented lock-free data structures, SIMD-optimized physics, and binary protocols with delta compression. Quick note: the website/login aren't functional yet - this is a work in progress! Here's my technical deep-dive into…

Hi all! Together with a friend (and Claude Code) we built this project for fun. We really liked playing around with it, so decided to put it online. We're self hosting and the app has no back-end so it's pretty cheap. Strudai is a wrapper around Strudel, a live coding environment for making music that runs fully in your browser. Besides the model inference, everything runs client side (bring your own Anthropic/Openrouter key). It allows you to prompt a model which can make (often shitty) music, create some visuals, or play full autonomous live sets (still a bit of a WIP). You can see…

Try it at: ssh krnl.duetbrowser.com No sign up, totally free - no download. Let me know what you think. Prior art exists (brow.sh) but I wasn't satisfied with their graphical take. I wanted the raw, old skool terminal days of the early internet - BBS, and old green phosphor library comptuers - but running the modern web, with all the bells and jingle jangle whistles (JavaScript, etc). No funding, no VC, just 100% raw terminal fun. Not sure how long the demo will last, but try it out.
