A small weekend project built for fun: You start with a picture and post pics that visually rhyme. Based on whatever you see fit. Of course, you can invite friends, too! At least for me it triggers some really ticklish place in my brain, adding those picture rhymes. Maybe you'll enjoy it as much as I do. Thank you for any feedback and with best wishes.

Hi HN, I've been reading for a few years now and thought I'd like to share my weekend project with you. Five.Seven.Five. is a place for fans of Haiku to publish, comment and share their poetry. Did this during the holidays and just finished with few extra features: http://thingsand.me/ And an example blog: http://thingsand.me/jori I tried to keep the platform as simple as possible and focus on the images instead of making yet another blogging platform. Time will tell for what people are going to use it. I hope to add API soon (iPhone uploader would be awesome to blog daily activities).

Hey all, Last week I had to make a couple of test pages and turned to one of my favorite sites to fill it with some imagery: https://placebear.com/ There's a pretty large amount of sites like this, but none seemed to be serving the superior animal: sloths. So I hacked this together quickly over the weekend. Hi HN! Me and my buddy made this in a weekend as an experiment in 1. building something quickly and putting it out there and 2. using AI in an interesting way; in this case a poetry judge. Our “judge” isn’t perfect, but the hope is that at least it’s a relatively fair system that everyone can be sure evaluates their work.
