https://price.hospital/ I'm attempting to make US hospital prices searchable and comparable after congress enacted price transparency. I'm aware that there are severe problems here as the prices are so opaque. The prices quoted are not the insurance-negotiated prices, it's taking time to load in and clean up all the data, hospital compliance with transparency is... mixed... The problem to solve: In the US, patients who can't afford health insurance are regularly charged the highest prices for healthcare - prices that are deliberately inflated by 2x-4x above market. Threw this together pretty quick because I kept seeing different takes on the new tax bill everywhere. Some sources saying it's bad for lower/middle class, others saying everyone saves money - figured I'd just build something to visualize it instead of trying to figure out who's right. Created this app because nothing like it existed. I've always wanted to be able to sort products from my favorite online stores by how much each product had dropped in price. I think we're still the only site that does this. Please let me know if this is not true! What are some ways to get exposure? This one is different in that I've put a lot of work into categorisation, so you can filter down quite precisely. This is a previous project I decided to relaunch. There's tons of directories that accept all submissions, but I feel like that just waters down the platform. It also isn't fair for the amazingly built tools and services. I pivoted to a premium-only directory and feel like charging a small fee, while it might take longer to build the portfolio of listed tools, they'll be of much higher quality than other platforms.
