I've been turning individual Substacks into books -- actual paperbacks and hardbacks that you can put on your shelf -- for a little time now. (See the homepage.) So when a friend pointed me towards a tweet about doing it weekly across all a person's subscriptions, it seemed like a reasonable thing to test. I know where a few of the beartraps on the route from Substack to paper are. Do share feedback and thoughts.

I built this product back in 2018 as a small side project: a tool that turns short videos into physical flipbooks. After launching it, I didn't touch it for years. I've been writing on Substack for the last year, and from the beginning I've been aware that I might want to migrate to a different platform at some point. My partner usually writes substack posts which I then mirror to our website’s blog section. To automate this, I made a simple tool to scrape the post and clean it so that I can drop it to our blog easily. This might be useful to others as well. Oh and ofcourse you can instruct GPT to make any final edits :D
