Our project is at: https://www.processmaker.io/ We built a high performance workflow engine in the cloud aimed for developers. It originally was intended as a BPMN focused engine but you can also create complex workflows programatically without any BPMN diagramming tools. Think of it as a platform that goes well beyond ITTT or Zapier. This platform means we can do services orchestration and serverless programming (using our script tasks which currently support LUA) as well as human enabled workflows (think of using forms and approvals, etc). We have SDKs in most major…

Hi all, I wanted a robust way to keep track of my receipts without needing to keep them in a box and so i found paperless - but the existing paperless ai projects didn't really convert my receipts to usable data. so I created a fork of nutlope's receipthero (actually it's a complete rewrite, the only thing that remains over is the system prompt) The goal of this project is to be a one stop shop for automatically detecting tagged docs and converting them to json using schema definitions - that includes invoices, .... i can't think of any others right now, maybe you can? If you do please make…

Hi HN! I'm proud to share that we've launched a free PDF-to-Markdown CLI built on our proprietary (you might know it from PSPDFKit) engine. Most extractors are either fast but lose structure (markitdown, pymupdf4llm) or accurate but slow (docling). Ours ties with docling on accuracy but is orders of magnitude faster. https://github.com/pspdfkit/pdf-to-markdown We'd love feedback on it, and ofc send us files that break it.

Hi HN, I'm Vlad. I've been building MCP servers and related tooling for a while now, and I kept hitting a class of bug that no unit test caught: someone on the team renames a tool parameter or tweaks a tool description, all the tests pass, but the AI agent that was calling that tool silently breaks. This happens because the model reads tool descriptions and parameter schemas to decide which tool to call and how, so a renamed parameter or a reworded description isn't just a cosmetic change — it directly affects the model's behavior. The MCP spec doesn't have tool versioning available yet, and…

Built this while applying to various jobs. I was using Claude to generate different resume variants for roles (Flutter, WordPress, fullstack, Python backend, agentic AI/RAG). It worked pretty well, but I kept hitting limits — both in control and credits. I also wanted something more consistent when tailoring resumes for specific job posts. So I built this. Key points: * Multiple variants from one base * Client-side PDF rendering (PDFKit in browser, no server) * Local-first PWA, works offline * JSON import/export * FOSS (open to PRs for templates/features) Live demo:…
