Products that do what Pushpin, an iOS client for Pinboard, is now open source does
Just wanted to share that I just open-sourced Pushpin today under the GPLv3 license. I've been building it since 2012 and it's become one of the most popular iOS clients for Pinboard [0] [1] [2]. It hasn't gotten a large update in quite a while, but it still runs perfectly on the latest iOS and iPad OS devices. Enjoy! I actually started it June 2011 to learn iOS, launched it in September, and have been steadily adding features and making improvements. It's something I use every day and I hope other people find it useful. Enjoy!

I'm a iOS and Mac developer and the thing that mostly bothered me when I first started learning Cocoa programming was the lack of full featured sample code. Now things have changed and more projects have been released, but I still want to do my part. Hi guys, I've spent the last 18 months building a restaurant POS app that can run completely and reliably on iOS. Along the way, we've really pushed the devices to their limits and have something special that doesn't rely on the cloud for service, doesn't copy old and crappy "100 buttons on a screen" POS interfaces, and is still just as efficient and much more usable. Combining Bonjour (Apple's implementation of zeroconf) with the excellent Cocoa APIs also made it a relatively magical experience - you can literally watch on an iPad as a waiter takes an order on a iPod connected to the iPad.…

I've just made the first "proper" release of a tool I've been wanting to work on for a while now. As a long-time user of Pinboard I've been wanting to build a terminal-based client for the service, one that works "just so" and which I can hack on. After seeing a cool demo of a hack on Twitter, I built a cross platform version of it that works well and uses streaming. From anywhere on Mac and Linux, trigger Ollama and optionally feed it your clipboard. I built it yesterday and it's already very useful to me. I'm pretty excited about it and wanted to share!

http://www.barebonesapp.com I run a web development company in the UK[1]. Last weekend, we participated in Leedshack[2], and we build Barebones, which is a really simple wireframing tool for the iPad. We spend a lot of time in meetings sketching in our notebooks, and often these sketches are a valuable artefact long before 'traditional' wireframing even enters the process; we wanted to replicated the speed and simplicity of 'back of a napkin' sketching, and combine it with really simple sharing (anything is better than taking a photo of a sketch with my iPhone and emailing it to a client!)…
