Hey everyone, I have spend some of my free time of the last year and a half working on a cool project: Readbo ( http://readbo.com ). I loved using Google Reader, but I always thought it wasn't being updated quickly enough, and wanted some new features. So I decided to create something that would be better than Google Reader and at the same time make Google Reader users happy. hey Everyone, I built FeedRebel [ http://www.feedrebel.com ] partly because I needed a feed reader myself but mainly because it ties in nicely with an idea that I've been working on. In the last days I started to build a Google Reader replacement http://reader.is (also found this nice domain name). What do you think of it? For the moment it's just very simple you can add feeds and then read them aggregated or single.

As an avid Google Reader user I was really disappointed with the reading experience on my iPhone. I got fed up with the news reader apps out there so I decided to make my own. Its a simple concept where it tracks all your favorite news sources for new posts and the social shares it received. Then it ranks it HN/Reddit style using social shares as upvotes. It's not meant to be alternative to HN, just a focused way to track your favorite sources. Hello! I built a web-app called JungleReader that lets you follow RSS, Mastodon, YouTube, Reddit, and random blogs, all in one place. I made JungleReader as a central place to follow the blogs and sites I like, which I otherwise often lose track of. My next project (which is WIP) is a web-app called JungleWriter where you can build a simple blog and export it for hosting. There's lots of improvements I'd like to make but thought I should get some feedback first to see if anyone's interested in it. The main page just shows the most recent feed items (currently from only the 3 feeds I've added myself), but the idea is that it'll show the most popular items aggregated from all users.
