I've been working on Recall for a while now, it had some initial traction in the beginning which has since died down now. I am facing the inevitable question of whether to continue with the project. I just put out a new release and it would be helpful to get advice from the community on what they think of the idea and my implementation.

As you solve LeetCode questions, you can mark them as hard, medium, or easy. The tool will then recommend questions you should review based on (1) how hard the question was for you and (2) how much time has passed since you last reviewed it. I'd recommend normally attempting LeetCode problems and just marking them as hard, medium, or easy for you at first so the tool knows which problems to recommend you review! Hey HN! I'm José, and I built Recall to solve a problem that was driving me crazy. The Problem: I use Claude for coding daily, but every conversation starts from scratch. I'd explain my architecture, coding standards, past decisions... then hit the context limit and lose everything. Next session? Start over. The Solution: Recall is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that gives Claude persistent memory using Redis + semantic search. Think of it as long-term memory that survives context limits and session restarts. How it works: - Claude stores important context as "memories" during…

I've been working on this tool that lets you build a personal knowledge graph from articles, blog posts, podcasts, YouTube videos, and other content you find interesting online. You can safely forget everything and trust that Recall will resurface it when something new that is related comes up. Looking forward to your thoughts and feedback on how it could be improved! The original version of Recall was posted last year nov on HN: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=33425947 Since then I have pivoted to a browser extension.

DSAPrep.dev▲10Hi HN, I built a spaced repetition system for Leetcode after realizing I'd "solved" 150+ problems but couldn't recall the patterns when faced with new questions in actual interviews. The problem: Solving problems once creates the illusion of learning without actual retention. Your brain discards solutions as "one-time knowledge" unless you review them at spaced intervals. What it does: - Automatically schedules problem reviews (1 day → 3 days → 1 week → 2 weeks → 1 month, etc.) - Adjusts intervals based on difficulty (easy problems reviewed less frequently) - Highlights overdue problems that…

recall▲43I have been bouncing off flashcards because making them by hand has been always a tedious task. Recall runs as an MCP server - you can connect it to Claude or Chatgpt, point your handwritten or typed notes (PDFs, docs, or even a Notion Page), and it writes Q&A cards straight into a deck. You could even ask Claude or Chatgpt to research on a topic and do the same without having the need to make notes. Then you review them with the FSRS spaced repetition algorithm. Built it solo over the last 2 weeks. Stack used: Next.js, Drizzle + Neon, ts-fsrs for scheduling It's a paid product - no card…

built this because I got tired of re-teaching Claude Code the same context every session. Preferences, decisions, “we already tried X,” “don’t touch this file,” etc. After a few days it starts to feel like onboarding the same coworker every morning. Most “agent memory” tools auto-save everything. That feels good briefly, then memory turns into a junk drawer and retrieval gets noisy. Total Recall takes the opposite approach: a write gate. Before anything gets promoted, it asks one question: “Will this change future behavior?” If not, it doesn’t get saved. How it works: Daily log first (raw…
