Long-simmering side project that is finally ready to see the light. HAMTs are a cool persistent data structure and implementing one has been a lot of fun. Beyond the code, there is likely some value in the extensive and largely complete implementation docs; basic benchmarks are linked in the README, too. Kind of aiming to be "the libavl for HAMTs". We built a Rust MCP server, which wraps the excellent headless terminal (HT)[1] to makes it available for agentic coding tools. Most agentic coding tools struggle with blocking, interactive terminal tools (all the boilerplate generator, infra CLI tools etc). I was building a Rust-based agentic coding TUI and needed to render Mermaid diagrams. Noticed the official mermaid-cli spawns a full browser instance (Puppeteer/Chrome) just to render diagrams. Decided to fix this. mmdr is a native Rust renderer. Intended for 10-year (plus hopefully) deployment lifetime on $10-30 of silicon. The kind of thing you screw to a wall, plug in, and walk away from for a decade. No telemetry, no phone-home updates, no external dependencies. Storage decisions get a sanity checked against NVS wear... a write-per-PUBLISH would shred the flash in months, so the retained store and in tables that stay in PSRAM. Its heavily written with AI and borrowed a lot of visuals from Tasmota. Not for production use yet (been currently running it for a month with great results!)
