Trading cards are awesome, but paying $30 for some cardboard isn’t. I’ve upscaled 60,000 cards from the entire catalog of Yugioh, Magic, Pokemon, & a newer game, https://elestrals.com. I've made it easy to build a decklist, download it, and then print at home. Modern inkjet printers got really good when nobody was looking. While it’s clear they’re not real cards, the upscaling makes them look great for casual play (these are not tournament legal). It’s totally free, give it a try! I built a website for games that catch my eye or have something interesting going on. I made it for fun but then updating became a habit. Maybe you'll find your next "must-play" game here? GitHub repo: https://github.com/RaycatWhoDat/games-list

The Fuck Card started years ago as a physical card I printed for some friends. Now it's this simple web app you can use to express yourself. Quickly make a card, copy the link and send it to someone who deserves it. It's fun and there's lots you can say with it. I built it built in 100% handcrafted in Vanilla HTML, CSS and JS. No frameworks, no BS. Fonts are provided by Google Fonts. Image generation thanks to html2canvas. No-tracking analytics by Matomo. It started as a weekend project to train my JS skills. I'd love to know your thoughts.

Long time listener, first time caller. I am coming up to the eight-month mark in my "Heads Down, Learn Programming" experiment. This is my first app, an open source Magic the Gathering sealed deck generator. At the moment it is severely limited in scope, but I've worked on it for ~ six hours and I figure this is a good time to stop and let it breathe for a while. It's on github (https://github.com/alxjrvs/Sealed-Deck-Generator), as are a number of other half-completed project. Each was started with a goal in mind ("Mess around with Bootstrap", "Get off your ass and TDD", "Kick around complex…

A few months ago I shared 18 Words, Zanagrams and Sunflowers here, which loads of you ended up playing and sending really useful feedback. I’ve now brought all three together into PZL games along with three new daily games. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here who played, commented and helped improve them. HN has been a big part of getting these games off the ground. I'v now had over 1 million players across them. Would love to hear what you think of the new site, and any feedback is very welcome.

Hey, it's been a long time in the making, but we're finally ready with our public BETA version of our Android application. We're anxiously (and nervously) awaiting your feedback, so please lay it on us. Our biggest fear is hearing nothing. The game is called Super Tic Tac Toe. It's a new take on the old, boring tic tac toe that more often than not ended in a cat's game. The game board is a large tic tac toe board with each square comprised of a smaller tic tac toe board. You and an opponent place your marks on the smaller boards, each move dictating where your opponent may move next (and…

Hi HN, I recently got the AnkiMobile app for iOS for Mandarin. It was buggy and feature-lacking in my opinion, so I made a nice looking Anki-compatible alternative app, with more features. It uses a tuned FSRS5 algorithm and supports image occlusion out of the box. You can import your existing Anki decks into it or create a new one. Pretty quick to add cards with the image feature. I'm using it right now and will add more to it so let me know what you think. FYI, it has a one-off purchase of $14.99 to unlock it for lifetime (no taksies backsies) after a test period of seven days.

Hi everyone! First time posting. I built this mini memory game in an attempt to beat lazy memory syndrome. because when was the last time you remembered what you did the day before purely based on memory (or without being prompted) ? Super simple fun game for giving our brains a quick workout and actually reminding it on how to remember. If you had those old Nokia phones from the early 90s, the game will seem insanely familiar to you
