Products that do what System Design Practice and Discussion does

Many platforms exist for a candidate to practice leetcode style questions. Created one to practice and discuss system design problem statements. There is no auto evaluation as high level design is subjective, but we support upvotes/downvotes and a comment section for feedback and discussion. Looking for early feedback.

As you solve LeetCode questions, you can mark them as hard, medium, or easy. The tool will then recommend questions you should review based on (1) how hard the question was for you and (2) how much time has passed since you last reviewed it. I'd recommend normally attempting LeetCode problems and just marking them as hard, medium, or easy for you at first so the tool knows which problems to recommend you review! I've long had a dislike for leetcode interviews on both sides of the coin. Project-based interviews can also be challenging because it can end up filtering out folks who don't want to spend several hours building something in their free time. I met up with a friend last year -- a very senior dev -- who had taken some time off to study leetcode exercises while preparing for FAANG interviews. It struck me that one of the key measures of whether a candidate is a fit for a team is rather synthetic. CodeRev.app is a simple, lightweight tool that helps teams evaluate candidates using code reviews.…

Hi, I'm a high school teacher from Australia and I've built what I'd like to think is a pretty nifty ChatGPT powered presentation tool for teachers. I'd love it if you could have a look at it and give me some of your feedback. I don't think there's much overlap with the HN crowd and school teachers, but I've been coming here for many years and thought I'd post here and see what you all think. Check it out if you have a minute and I'd be super happy to hear your feedback too. https://www.slidehero.ai/ You can jump in and have a play with the tool all you like ;) Cheers, Eli

Howdy friends! Tell me if this is an atrociously terrible idea - I've been working on building a leetcode for clientside devs so we can practice React and Javascript interview questions in a more concise way, I call it clientside.dev I just finished a beta version of it yesterday and plan on releasing it with many more problems on Jan 1st but it's there if you wanna play with it open to any ideas / feedback however mean or nice it may be :)

Hey guys, Would really appreciate some feedback on a site we are working on that deals with programming/tech questions with no definitive answer. The concept is that while there may be no definitive answer to "Best X for Y", knowing the pros/cons of the different options and their use-cases is useful when making a decision. We also took a different approach to Q&A and went very collaborative, so one person doesn't have to write everything and we can improve/update it over time. Thanks! www.slant.co

Hey HN — we’re University of Waterloo grads, and we’re building LeetPro (https://tryleetpro.com). LeetPro is Leetcode but for soft skill-based questions and cases. In other words a platform designed to help you nail behavioral, product, and case-based interviews just like Leetcode does for technical interviews. We’re combining AI-driven mock interviews with community-driven content to create a comprehensive preparation tool for systems design, product, and business interviews. We came up with this idea just last week, and we've already launched an MVP that’s worth checking out if…

I was frustated by having to draw system design diagrams by hand when discussing it with my team mates or in an interview. So I thought "Wouldn't it be great if someone draws it for me, while I think out loud?". That is when I came up with VoiceDraw. You can just think out loud or discuss your system architecture with a friend/interviewer, the diagrams are automatically drawn along with your reasoning, open questions and tradeoffs beautifully written on to the side.
