Hey guys, Would really appreciate some feedback on a site we are working on that deals with programming/tech questions with no definitive answer. The concept is that while there may be no definitive answer to "Best X for Y", knowing the pros/cons of the different options and their use-cases is useful when making a decision. I built this last year but never posted it anywhere, but now with Reddit hiatus it seems like the right time to give it a shot. The main goal of zsync is to foster high quality content and discussion. That's it. If it can't accomplish that, then to me it is a failure. A few days ago, I responded to a comment by bloggergirl offering to read anyone's web copy and help. I shot off an email hoping for a paragraph or two of feedback on my startup's copy. Instead I received a professional, detailed deck of tons of invaluable well thought out feedback. It must have taken her an entire afternoon. Based on the multiple "Who's hiring remotely?" and similar posts on HN, I thought it might be useful to have a site that aggregates remote programming jobs. There is way too much spam out and an inconsistent way to say "work from home" so traditional searching doesn't work (or rather, takes a long time per person). I've worked in a few remote programming positions so I figured I might know of some companies or searching tricks to find them. Let me know if you'd find this type of thing useful. I had problems scheduling company get together. 3 days in next 3 months, 12 people, whats the best date for that? I've build the solution to my problem (human coded haha) and recently is started getting traction which is nice, so we added Slack integration (Claude coded). WhenNOT flips the question: instead of "when are you available?", we ask "when are you NOT available?" It's completely free - no premium tiers, no limits.
