I built a free, anonymous app for sorting ideas collectively. I feel like this could be useful for product teams prioritizing tickets as well as friends choosing what movie to go see. This is my second time posting in case it fell under the radar, but I won't post it again. Not spamming! I built it using https://partykit.dev/ and it runs on Cloudflare. It was actually pretty easy to throw together in a week. Let me know what you think or if there are tweaks that could make it more useful for you and your team. Thanks!

Hi there! I have been a huge fan of pinballs for a few months, discovering all pinballs that are in my city, and I converted quite a few friends to it. The only problem was that we wanted to keep an eye on everyone's score and I always did it in some notes on my phone. This was not very practical. With my friends we wanted to have a nice friendly competition (no money involved) about the football worldcup by predicting the results. I though this might interest other groups of friends so I coded a website just for that in 3 days. Hi HN, When I was in FAANG, I despised ticketing. I was always the eng that refused to update. Then when I was a tech lead, I had the pain of pinging everyone for updates because they hated it too. Things would go out of date, and then no one would really know if we were on track. We also had little visibility into what the team was doing outside of pinging/standups. Hello HN! I got pretty overwhelmed with Notion, Trello, etc. (Even though they are great tools!) as an indie dev, so I built an app that is simpler to use and perfectly suited for an indie like me :) You can basically divide your projects into multiple milestones (a milestone could be e.g. a new version), and the milestones can have multiple tasks that are either todo, in progress, or done. I recently launched my first web app, polls.io. It's a super simple polling app that doesn't require sign-up. In my opinion, this is the most simple/social polling app out there. There are certainly many similar apps out there, but I think this one stands out as it straight-forward and doesn't have any unnecessary "mess" getting in the way of the actual poll. Hi HN! Flocklist.app is a minimalist, private dependency tracker. I mostly just built this for myself, since I would sit down to work, look at my to-do list, and I couldn't do 2/3 of the tasks. None of the solutions to this really cut it, either because they are a little clunky or are enterprise scale (like Jira, Linear, you know the rest). I figure I can't be the only one with this problem, so I built this free app to fix it. (It also doesn’t store tasks in the cloud.) I would love to hear any feedback you have!
