Hi HN, When I was in FAANG, I despised ticketing. I was always the eng that refused to update. Then when I was a tech lead, I had the pain of pinging everyone for updates because they hated it too. Things would go out of date, and then no one would really know if we were on track. We also had little visibility into what the team was doing outside of pinging/standups. So I made an AI that looks at every commit you push and updates tickets for you. It can create tickets if there isn't one, update, leave comments, tag associated commits etc... Basically, it's an "AI Board Babysitter" so you can just code and let it take care of the paperwork. It's very much an MVP and I've got it integrated with a 10 person Startup. Hey HN! Thank you for all the support and feedback on my original submission 2 months ago. I've been improving the backend using a MCTS/AlphaZero approach and it's currently producing much better results. My long term goal is to allow users to manage multiple projects, deployed autonomously, both from scratch and by making continual updates all prompted with natural language. The cost of each project has been lowered to $9 as performance with smaller models has improved (I migrated from Claude-3-Opus to gemini-1.5-flash). Thanks for checking it out!

Figured I'd track the popular coding agents to see merge and approval rates. At first I was tracking Opened vs. Approved, but realized most people aren't approving; they just merge. I haven't found a way to reliably track the other agents (Jules, Devin, etc), since they don't have a standardized branch naming convention. Interesting to watch this over time. Open to ideas.

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
