I've been working on a side project called Streak.ly with a friend of mine for the past month or so; it's intended to help keep you motivated to do otherwise mundane daily tasks (like do 10 pushups, read for an hour, etc.) by letting you log "streaks" — consecutive days in a row of doing something. Since I went remote(working) last year, I found it hard to track my work/focus hours. To begin with, I started with my mobile stopwatch but found it to be inefficient and distracting. I then tried some time management tools online but they were geared towards enterprises than individuals. Plus, had too many features. Howdy HN, As a small side project, I built a small app to share weekly time schedules. It's been useful for me to help schedule meeting and share semester schedules with friends. Care to share a screenshot and the 'killer feature' of any of your personal, self-built productivity tools? eg. I made my own calendar and money-tracker last year - there are no other users, it makes no money, I have no plans to make it public, but it holds my life together :) http://i.imgur.com/h2keJDg.png GREAT BECAUSE... it tells me how much I'm going to get paid this month. I started to track my expenses on excel sheets earlier this year. It was interesting to see how much I spent casually on just another hangout with friends or on education. This is my first web app, so there are bound be to be a few kinks that need to be worked out. I've just published my app and I would love to have more feedback on it. I got the idea when I was busy moving around several projects during my last semester. And I always don't know which project I should work on next. Hi, This is my new project (https://www.timepike.com/) which tries to solve basic problem of most small agencies: tracking working hours and holidays of employees and generating invoices for clients. I know that there are many similar solutions out there. Still, I haven't found one solving this problem in really clean, intuitive and super helpful way (for employer as much as for employees). I've been building a bunch of US geography tools/games/visualizations and thought folks on HN might like this one. There are also drive-time and bike-time tools available on the same page. For folks interested, all of the data comes from OpenStreetMap and the US Census at the moment - OSM for routing and points interest and the US Census for population data. Anonymous users can use it 5x/day. Hi! I made http://weightgrapher.com/ Essentially, all the websites I've used between FitBit, LoseIT and MyFitnessPal have really poor graphing. When I joined weight loss groups and forums I found most people are afraid of getting on the scale just because of how discouraging daily fluctuations can be. I aimed to fix this problem by bringing exponentially damped averages into the weight graphing, and educating on using your trending weight to see how you're doing instead of the up-and-down of raw numbers. Thoughts? Feedback?

http://sein-cal.co.cc/ This is our first web application. It is a no-frills implementation of the Seinfeld Calendar, and aids in improving productivity by helping form habits. We (two of us) started with it 5 days ago. With a bit of Python background, we decided to go at it with Django. The process was in itself a learning experience with remote collaboration, learning and using git to manage the code, and using App Engine with Django. All for the first time. Feedback welcome.
